Tonight at 9p on NBC, Will & Grace gets political. But the bigger story is that Will and Jack finally have the talk.
That’s right, we have waited almost nineteen and a half years for Jack (Sean Hayes) and Will (Eric McCormack) to finally reveal if they can ever see their friendship turning into something more and tonight’s the night. What happens that makes them have that talk? You just have to watch. What do they say to each other? Like I am ever going to tell you that before the episode airs. Would you really want me to?
Also on the episode, Karen (Megan Mullally) needs a cake for the birthday party she is throwing for Donald Trump at her house, but the bakery refuses to make it for her. Instead of taking them on by herself, she does the next best thing. She calls Grace (Debra Messing) to do it. Will the staunch Hillary supporter help Karen out? It is a real conundrum for her. She is a die hard Democrat, but she believes everyone deserves to have their cake and eat it too. It is a tough call for her and a very funny one for us. Especially because you see Messing show off her Lucille Ball comedy skills several times tonight.
While I normally hate when scripted shows get political these days (because I watch them to get away from it all), Will & Grace finds a way to work it in so it is not annoying and preachy.
And did I mention that Will and Jack have the talk tonight? That is more than enough of a reason for any W&G fan to watch tonight’s episode. Because their heart to heart is very pleasing for us, just like the whole season of the revival has been so far.

On Tuesday, Paris Themmen was on Jeopardy and he was the biggest question of the night. While his name might not sound familiar to you, most of us grew up with him. Back when he was several inches shorter and he had a little more hair on his head.
Back then, he was also obsessed about being on television, and a golden ticket was going to make his dream come true. Boy was he thrilled to pieces about it. You get where I am going with this? Themmen was in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and he played Mike Teevee the only American who got the golden ticket in beloved film.
Fast forward to this week and him being on the game show. Unless you are wannabe contestant who knows everything about ’70s movies or you follow Themmen on Twitter, you were never going to know he was on the show. Neither he nor Alex Trebeck mentioned his past. Which seems odd because you think that would be the first thing they would bring up. Unless they did not know?
Either way it is so cool to see Mike Teevee all grown up and on TV. Now that I know he lives in the same city as me, I am going to be on the look out for him because Willy Wonka is one of my all-time favorite movies.
When it comes to how he did? The Oompa Loompas came to get him and sang, “Oompa loompa doompety doo, I’ve got another puzzle for you, Oompa loompa doompeda dee, If you are wise you’ll listen to me, What do you get when you’re on TV, You get a second place finish, and sixty-eight hundred to take home.” And then he turned into a bunch of particles never to be seen again until the movie’s 50th anniversary in 2021.
The thing I love most when Ricky Gervais does a talk show, is that you never know what he is going to say and do. Yesterday, he was on Late Night and Seth Meyers set himself up for what was about to happen next.
Gervais has a new comedy special on Netflix now called Humanity and he talks about how ageing has changed his body. There was one scene that the NBC host wanted to talk about and that is when the trouble begins. That is because he talked about his pendulums or as we know them as testicles. Then for the next 2 minutes they talked about their 2 boys.
The comedian said he has not seen them for 20 years, so when he did he was shocked. That is when he realized he “could take down ostriches with” them.” The image in our heads right now because it is so true. But if you do not get that reference then Google it.
Now, it was time for the two men to talk about that finger examine. Meyers is too young for that, but he thought it was supposed to start at 40. Therefore, he was a little disappointed because it did not happen at that visit. Gervais then shared with him his first experience with the finger. His doctor decided to break the ice as he inserted the digit in the hole. The doc did that by telling Gervais that he is a big fan of The Office. What else could the actor do but say, “Thank you very much!” And thank you very much for sharing all of that personal information with us.
Oh and good thing that Gervais did not poop himself when his doctor told him he was fan. That would have been a whole new level of awkward.
Back in 2000, Shaggy released It Wasn’t Me, and now 17 years later he changed up the lyrics with James Corden on The Late Late Show to make them work for Donald Trump’s White House. You just have to watch the reimagination to see how brilliant it is. They are so many times you will high five your computer because that line is so true. So sit back and enjoy it because they totally nailed the relationship between the president and Robert Mueller.
If that is not enough for you, see what The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon did to Salt-n-Pepa’s Let’s Talk About Sex. They took POTUS’s past pressers to give us their take of Let’s Talk About Rex. And now I will never listen to the original song again.
Burt Reynolds was on Today this morning to talk about his film The Last Movie Star. The sex symbol told her that watching this movie is very emotional for him because it is stuff that he is going through now. Stuff like people telling the 82-year-old to retire and get out of the business. Even though he said that, he is still happy he did this movie.
Then Hoda Kotb wanted to know if they made a movie about the movie star, who would he want to play him. Without hesitation, he told her George Clooney. Why is the guy? He said, “Well, why not?…Not as good looking but he still has a lot of other things.”
Even though Clooney does not look like the legend, he does have that suaveness and sexiness that Reynolds used to have. I say used to have, and this is hard for me to say, but that was a very uncomfortable interview to watch. Hats off to Kotb for handling it so well, but you felt for bad for her having to go through that chat with him. Especially at the end when he said to her, I am so happy for you for not having the lips larger.” What does that mean? So weird and sad to watch. But again admirable for her to handling with such class. It is why she deserves the promotion that she recently got at Today.
