Before Courteney Cox was on the covers of magazines all over the World, she was on the cover the Susan Blake’s book The Last Word. How cute was the 20-year-old posing on the cover for that 1985 paperback novel?
You know how they say, if it is not broke, don’t fix it. America’s Got Talent never heard of that. That is because for season 14, they are changing things up again.
Out are Heidi Klum, Mel B and Tyra Banks, in are Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough and Terry Crews. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor has been well received as the host of AGT: Champions, so his hiring makes sense. As does the departure of the three ladies who are working on other projects. What I cannot get into is Hough joining the panel. Who doesn’t find her annoying? I am sure Simon Cowell will find out soon enough that she thinks it should be all about her.
On a positive note, at least there are Americans on the panel again. The first time there has been one since Howard Stern left after season 10.
What do you think of the new America’s Got Talent?
It has been 20 years since Corey Hart released an album, so you have to wonder what the rocker is up to now. Well now we know, he auditioned to be on La Voix aka The Voice in Canada.
Wait, what? I thought he has a new album coming out in May? He does. Not only that, he is being inducted into Canadian Music Hall of Fame in March and going on tour starting in May. So what is he doing on La Voix? Playing a joke on the coaches. Besides all of the above, he is going be Coach Éric Lapointe’s mentor this season
How does he have time to do that all? He took 20 years off to be a dad, so he is plenty relaxed! He might be relaxed but his voice is as sexy as ever.
Now, let’s get back to his audition. He had this to say about it, “Lots of Fun @ Le Voix in Quebec – could’ve been utterly humiliating 😳😰if coaches didn’t turn around ! But alls well.” So well, he will be back to perform as Corey Hart the singer and not a contestant on the season finale in May. Although, if none of the coaches turned around, I doubt he would have come back for it!
BTW He is on been on my To-Do list ever since I heard him sing “Oh” on his song Komrade Kiev. After the audition, he talked to the coaches in French and I needed to take a very cold shower. He has one of the sexiest voices and it gives me more than an eargasm! If you don’t know his music, get to know because you will understand what I mean.
Movies like La La Land can win and lose the Oscar for Best Movie in a matter of minutes, but I would rather watch the Disney Channel Musical Z-O-M-B-I-E-S over and over again instead. In fact, I have. I am not alone because Disney finally announced today that they will begin filming the sequel in the spring. I don’t know why it took them a year to make it official because I knew after watching it for the first time that it needs as many sequels as they can produce.
The first film is about Zombies being integrated into a human high school for the first time and the normals don’t want to accept them. Think what it was like when schools ended segregation, but this is with Zombies, who are no longer brain eaters. Powerful, right? Plus, this movie is filled with several catchy songs and I cannot get enough of it.
Now we just have to wait for the sequel. Which according to press release, the telemovie, “will pick up at Seabrook High where, after a groundbreaking semester, Zed (Milo Manheim) and Addison (Meg Donnelly) continue to steer both their school and community toward unity, but the arrival of a new group of outsiders—mysterious werewolves—threatens to shake up the newfound peace and causes a rift in Zed and Addison’s budding romance.”
Unlike the big screen features, Disney Channel actually makes good sequels for their movies like Descendants 2 and Teen Beach 2. I might have aged out of their demographic a long long long time ago, but that does not mean I do not still love their movies. Teen Beach and Z-O-M-B-I-E-S are two of my all-time favorites and I don’t care who knows it!
Sincerely, if you have not seen Z-O-M-B-I-E-S, then you need to watch it on the ABC app ASAP. Trying saying that three times fast. However, you will want to watch it three times fast!
I never thought of Weird Al Yankovic and Kenny G as the same person. That is until now. The Schlock rocker posted a photo with saxophonist and now I don’t know which one is which. But I do now know they are not the same person. Although, now I can no longer tell them apart. Can you?
