Murphy Brown takes on #MeToo and it is must watch episode
October 11th, 2018 under Candice Bergen, CBS, Sharon Gless and Tyne Daly. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, Brett Kavanaugh, who was accused of sexual assault from his teenage years, was confirmed to be a Supreme Court Justice. People kept saying, “Why come forward 36 years later?” Or they would say, “She has no proof.” I guess they were never sexually assaulted or harassed, so they do not understand what it was like in the old days. Tonight at 9:30p on CBS, Murphy Brown shows us what was like years ago as compared to now and why women did not say anything back then.

The episode starts off with the staff of Murphy in the Morning having to go through sexual harassment training. Something Miles (Grant Shaud) needs because he is hitting on a female employee. Murphy (Candice Bergen) does not think she needs to go because it is her show. That is when she reminded what happened to a few other people…

After the class, Frank (Joe Regalbuto) realizes he might need some help and Pat (Nik Dodani) has an app he created that might help him. If he says something inappropriate, then it buzzes him. Side note, someone needs to make this app real!

Anyways, Murphy, Miles and Corky (Faith Ford) go to the bar, and the latter talks about the times she was sexually harassed when she was first starting out. That strikes a nerve with Murphy and causes her to remember something that happened to her when she was younger.

Later that day, Avery (Jake McDorman) realizes that something is off with his mom (with a line that will make you LOL), so he asks her what her what is going on. She tells him and he explains to her what happened to her is not her fault. But it is still weighing on her.

She goes to the bar and talks to Phyllis (Tyne Daly). The bartender, who does not like give her advice, gives her some. She needs to confront her attacker. That is when she decides to see him and confront him about their past.

What happens next is something everyone needs to see. It might show all of these people, who cannot understand the #MeToo movement, why it is so important. Why he said/she said is not just perceived as he said. For the first time in history, she said being heard just as loud if not louder.

Tonight, I highly suggest to everyone, to watch Murphy Brown because it is a real eye-opener. It shows us how the women of today feel empowered that what happened in their past is not their fault. They should not be ashamed. That they are victims and not their assaulters. Maybe if this aired last week, Kavanaugh would not be on SCOTUS. Which he should not be but that is a whole other episode.

Is Hugh Jackman really almost 50?
October 11th, 2018 under Are they really their age?, Hugh Jackman. [ Comments: none ]

Tomorrow is Hugh Jackman’s 50th birthday. That is right, the Greatest Showman is turning the big 5-0. He does not feel it, but he said, “When people tell you ‘you don’t look 50’ part of you believes it … until you see yourself sleeping.”

Do you think he looks like he is 49 years and 364 days old? I think he does, but it is because he is lying down and we all look older that way.

Gino D’Acampo says Gordon Ramsay’s willie woke him up
October 11th, 2018 under Gordon Ramsay, This Morning. [ Comments: none ]

Chefs Gino D’Acampo, Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix took a road trip around Europe and Gordon, Gino and Fred’s adventures are going to air on ITV. Since it is going to debut tonight, the Italian chef was on This Morning this morning to talk about it.

D’Acampo told the anchors that the three men would get naked all the time on their small bus and that the British one is a big one in every form of the way. In fact, he woke up every day with Kitchen Nightmares over it because Ramsay would tap his Spatchela every morning on his foot. Proving that even though they are three of the world’s most renowned chef’s, they can still act like very naughty boys.

So much so, that I hope that Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip finds its way over the pond so that we can watch it. Especially because if the traveling food show gets renewed, Ramsay wants to take them around Las Vegas to find the best food in the city of sin.

Back to D’Acampo am I the one who is oven is getting hot over him?

Dakota Johnson wears a tight skirt to prove she is not pregnant
October 11th, 2018 under Dakota Johnson, Ellen DeGeneres, Fifty Shades. [ Comments: 1 ]

Earlier in the week, there was a rumor that Dakota Johnson was pregnant because some balloons were released at a star-studded party at her house.

Today, she is on Ellen and Ellen DeGeneres wanted to know what happened. The Fifty Shades star revealed that she was having a birthday party at her house and they had an arch of balloons there. She guesses a string got loose and the balloons went flying up into the sky. Thus, causing people to assume that it was having a gender reveal party. Which it was not.

Now, not only does she have to tell people that she is not having Chris Martin’s child, but she also has to explain to them why they were not invited the shindig. Which was really awkward because DeGeneres was not invited and wanted to know why. But then Johnson told her that she was not invited to Ellen’s 50th, she was just there as arm candy for her boyfriend.

Proving that celebrities need to invite all talk show hosts to their parties if they don’t want something like this to happen to them.

Tony Danza’s alter ego is a rapper named Italian Ice!
October 11th, 2018 under Michael Strahan, Taxi, TV News. [ Comments: none ]

Tony Danza was on Good Morning America yesterday and Michael Strahan asked him if it is true he is a rapper. The actor, who is also a singer, shared with the hosts he has an alter ego named Italian Ice and then he showed off his rapping skills. You know what, he can give Childish Gambino a run for his money. That is if he can find a group of people who can clap on beat.

Another great reveal in this interview is Danza told them that one of his grandchildren thought he was in jail like his character on Netflix’s The Good Cop. The only crime he committed is by being so good on that police dramedy.
