Remember when you were little a girl and you dreamed about different members from your favorite Boy Bands getting together to form one band and creating a song that you could use to dream about them? Well, it might’ve taken 2 decades but it finally happened.
Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean, Nick Carter and Howie D, *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons and O-Town’s Erik-Michael Estrada all got together to record the theme song to Carter’s Syfy movie Dead 7 that debuts on Friday night.
Even if the Zombie film is horrible, at least we got this perfect ’90s song out of it.

Now that Star Wars is fully Disneyfied, it is getting its own special cruise on the Disney Cruise Line. Actually it is getting 8 cruises early next year. That’s right, Star Wars fans can gather on a boat together and watch Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. Not only that they can also experience: a deck party celebration, meet-and-greets with their favorite Star Wars characters, Star Wars-themed activities for younglings of all ages, out-of-this-world food and beverage offerings, exclusive merchandise and so much more!
While it might not be the X-Wing Fighter, it is pretty darn close. So if the force is with you to take one of the 8 cruises they are offering from January to April then you can find out more information at the Disney Cruise Line webpage. As Yoda would say, “Fun it should be!”
Christopher Atkins shared this photo of him with two Outsiders and Renegade from the Hollywood Collectors Show this weekend and several Gen Xers got all excited. That is because the Blue Lagoon star, Ralph Macchio, C Thomas Howell and Lorenzo Lamas all look as sexy now as they did in those ’80s teen mags like BOP and Dynamite. Can believe besides the Soul Man that all of those guys are over 50 because they sure as heck don’t look their age?
Atkins suggested in his Tweet that they do a movie together, and I agree with him. Who wouldn’t like to see this Fab 4 on the big screen in one movie together? I’d pay for it!
Yesterday New Kids on the Block was playing Radio City Music Hall when they were joined by another boy band the Backstreet Boys. The excitement from all of those former-teeny boppers was so ear numbing loud that I now have a headache that has Excedrin written all over it. Just think if their screaming was that high pitched, I don’t want to know how wet their panties were because it was a 30-something’s wet dream in 1999. Just think in 10 years the Jonas Brothers will get the same reaction when they join BSB at a show.
BTW I hope the two adult boy bands do a tour together so other women can enjoy them because according to those squeals it something they want to see. They can call their venture NKOTBSB, don’t you think? Just some advice if you go to see them, bring the aspirin because you are going to need it.
‘Star Trek’ icon William Shatner has agreed to host the first ever Canadian Awards for the Electronic and Animated Arts (CAEAA 2006). The awards take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, on September 14.
This year’s awards event will honour Canadian achievements in three sectors of the Electronic and Animated Arts industry: talent development (New Media and Animation Art Schools), animation, and video game development.
“We wanted Mr. Shatner as our host from the beginning and I cannot tell you how excited we are to learn today that he has accepted the role,” said Holly Carinci, CAEAA Producer.
