A Gen X girl’s wet dream!
March 23rd, 2026 under Billy Zabka, C. Thomas Howell, Matt and Kevin Dillon, Ralph Macchio. [ Comments: none ]

Back in the ’80s, teenage girls all had crushes on The Outsiders’ C. Thomas Howell and Ralph Macchio, Just One of the Guys’ Billy Zabka, and The Blob’s Kevin Dillon.

The four beefcakes’ posters might have shared a wall in the girls’ bedrooms, but they were never seen together in one photo.

That was then. Now, they were all together this weekend and took a photo at HorrorHound in Cincinnati. And all those girls are still having wet dreams about them because they are still doable 40 years later!

Gotta love conventions. They make girls’ wet dreams come true!

BTWF: Ralph Macchio for Bubble Yum
June 3rd, 2025 under Before They Were Famous, Ralph Macchio, The View, The Voice. [ Comments: none ]

Before Ralph Macchio was doing karate for Mr. Miyagi in The Karate Kid, he was dancing for Bubble Yum. He looks the same now as he did when he was 18 in that 1980 commercial.

To hear what he told the ladies of The View about his first acting job, then click here!

Look it’s The Outsiders’ Ponyboy and Johnny Cade
April 28th, 2025 under C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1983, several unknown actors starred in a movie that would change their lives forever. What is that life-changing movie? It was The Outsiders that starred unknowns like Rob Lowe, Tom Cruise, Patrick Swayze, and Diane Lane.

However, the director was and is still very well-known, and his name is Francis Ford Coppola. Over the weekend, he was honored at the AFI Film Festival with the AFI Life Achievement Award, and the two leads from the coming-of-age period piece reunited to honor him.

C. Thomas Howell and Ralph Macchio came together to celebrate the man who made them stars and blondes at the gala. And they both look fantastic!

While Ponyboy and Johnny Cade’s friendship did not survive (spoiler alert) the movie, in real life, it is 42 years and counting!

Spend Valentine’s Day with Cobra Kai’s final episodes
December 24th, 2024 under Billy Zabka, Ralph Macchio. [ Comments: none ]

If you are like me and don’t have anyone to spend Valentine’s Day with, then this year you will. That is because Netflix announced that Cobra Kai’s final episodes will debut on February 13th.

After a shocking result in the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do, and Cobra Kai must reckon with their pasts while facing an uncertain future both on and off the mat. Almost 40 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, it’s all been leading to this.

After that season finale, February 13th cannot come soon enough. I just wish the show wasn’t ending. I am going to miss it.

Did we really need another Karate Kid movie?
December 17th, 2024 under Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio. [ Comments: none ]

Sony is releasing another Karate Kid movie on May 30th, this time with Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan, who starred in the shitty remake that Will Smith made to make his untalented son happy.

But I digress. Today, they released the first trailer, and I think it was a waste of money.

After the success of Cobra Kai, they needed to go big or go home. This is the case where they should’ve gone home.

Macchio is better than this. Or maybe he isn’t.

It is too bad it is too late to wax Karate Kid Legends off.
