Back in 1985, the Goonies took over the big screen, and they have won the hearts of kids ever since then. That is why the love of the movie will never die.
So over the weekend, Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin, Ke Huy Quan, Keri Green, Jeff Cohen, and bad guy Robert Davi reunited to honor their late director Richard Donner.
Seeing them all together makes me wish they would finally make a sequel. This way, us, kids at heart, can feel like kids all over again with them.
Before Vernee Watson was the head nurse on Bob Hearts Abishola, she was a Sweathog on Welcome Back, Kotter. She has come a long way since she made her debut on the sitcom in 1975 when she was just 21 years old.

Back in 1985, a movie came out called St. Elmo’s Fire, and it is said to be the movie that launched the Brat Pack. It starred Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Rob Lowe, Ally Sheedy, Mare Winningham, Judd Nelson, and Emilio Estevez. Every teenager in the ’80s wanted their 20s to be like the characters in that movie.
That was then. The movie never got a sequel, so we were left to imagine what would happen to those friends when they were in the 50s. Over the weekend, we got to see that Jules and Kevin would still be hanging out in the year 2022.
So why did Andrew McCarthy and Demi Moore reunite? The actor wrote, “Great talking with my old friend Demi Moore today for my Brat Pack documentary!” Now, I want to know all about that doc that he is making and who is going to be in it. If the documentary is as good as his autobiography, Brat, it is going to be even better than St. Elmo’s Fire.
Now, let’s talk about how incredible the two 59-year-olds look. They look even better now than they did then.
Paramount+ is in talks to bring back Criminal Minds. However, the talks are stalled. Or are they?
Joe Mantegna shared a photo of himself with cast members Adam Rodriguez, Kirsten Vangsness, AJ Cook, Aisha Tyler, and Paget Brewster, and said, “Had dinner with some old friends last night.”
But I have to wonder if they were just catching up? Or were they celebrating about their series that was the little show that could, until it couldn’t, officially coming back after being off the air for two years? Only time will tell.
The SAG Awards staged a reunion for the leads of Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion. Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino presented an award at the show, much to the delight of their fans.
However, the most delightful moment for the Post-It Girls came backstage, when they recreated their dance (sadly without Alan Cummings). If this doesn’t make you smile, then nothing will.
