Bryan Cranston shared a photo of himself before he appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon yesterday, and he is looking different these days. The actor’s brunette locks are blonde and a lot longer. Not only that, his fashion sense is meth fashionable in the ’80s.
So what is going on? Is he dipping into the stuff he made on Breaking Bad? Nope. Thankfully, it was for a bit on the NBC late night show. To see what they were doing, then click here!
Did you know that The Super Mario Bros Movie has a theme song? Well, it does. And yesterday on The Tonight Show, Chris Pratt, Jack Black, Seth Rogen, Anya Taylor-Joy, Fred Armisen, Keegan-Michael Key, and Charlie Day sang it acapella with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots.
I never thought that the song we hear when we play Super Mario Bros could be sung by humans. But it can. And I love it! So much so that I am dancing to it as I write this.
Jimmy Fallon is an actor and a comedian, but I think he would also love to be a singer. So it makes sense that he would audition for The Voice to see if any of the coaches would turn their chairs around for him during a blind audition.
So, The Tonight Show host came out singing Michael McDonald’s I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near) just like the singer.
Was it good enough for the coaches? Kelly Clarkson was the first one to turn around, and Niall Haron was right behind her. They broke into laughter, so Chance the Rapper had to see what they were laughing about. And he topped their reaction, partially because he thought it was the real Michael McDonald. How does he even know who McDonald is?
What about retiring coach Blake Shelton? He knew there was something up, so he didn’t hit the button. But don’t worry, Fallon did it for him. And what did Mr. Gewn Stefani think of his friend’s performance? “It didn’t take me long to figure out it was Jimmy Fallon, and there was no way I was going to hit my button,” the Country singer said. “He does not deserve a chair turn on this show. Jimmy’s impersonation is the equivalent of walking up to Michael McDonald and slapping him in the face as hard as you can.”
I wish that Fallon and Shelton had a reality show where they took each other to try new things because Blake is a little bit Country, and Fallon is a little bit Rock’n’Roll.
Jason Derulo is on That’s My Jam this Monday on NBC. And Jimmy Fallon is giving a sneak peek of his performance on the singing celebrity game show.
During the Musical Genre Challenge, Derulo was asked to sing Sisqo’s Thong song in the style of Opera. So how did the Pop star do? He nailed it like Sisqo wants to nail the woman in that dress so scandalous.
Now, we might think of the singer as that guy who makes cheesy TikTok videos. But did you know he trained as an Opera singer? Thus, why it was so easy for him to do this.
Am I the only one who is wishing he would release an Opera album covering contemporary songs that you would never expect to hear in that style?
Many years ago, I saw an interview with Owen Wilson, and he mentioned the “Disdain Look.” That is when you recognize a celebrity out in our habitat. Basically, we squint our eyes, wondering how do we know them. Then we are like, “oh,” when we realize who they are. So finally, we look away. Thus, why Wilson calls it the “Disdain Look.”
Since I live in a small town with celebrities like a very recent EGOT winner, I am familiar with giving my neighbors that look in Trader Joe’s or Big Lots. I am just trying to be respectful of their privacy.
However, that is what I am thinking about it when I give them the look. But what are celebrities thinking when they see people give it to them?
Tyler James Williams was on The Tonight Show on Friday, and he talked to Jimmy Fallon about it. He says that he gets three different versions of the look. The first is the “happy to see the cute kid from Everybody Hates Chris is all grown up.” The second is the “sad I just saw you die on The Walking Dead.” And finally is the “Oh look, it is the sexy man from Abbot Elementary.”
Whatever look you give him, you can tell that he is happy that you are looking!
