Colin Jost really wants to get of his ferry!
May 4th, 2025 under Colin Jost, Pete Davidson, Saturday Night Live. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 2022, a very stoned Colin Jost and Pete Davidson bought a Staten Island Ferry for $280,000, and the two Staten Island natives have regretted ever since.

Therefore, they have tried selling it, but so far, there are no buyers. So, Jost has gone to drastic measures to find the boat a new home. Mr. Scarlett Johannsson appeared in a Saturday Night Live sketch, which he never does, begging the cast members to take it off their hands.

It did not work. But maybe someone will see it and take pity on him! Because we have all regretted buying something while we were drunk or high on Amazon! The difference is that we might have spent $280 at most, and not $280,000.

Maybe someone can tell Elon Musk that it can take him to Atlantis so that he will take it off their hands!

William Shatner has a message for Star Wars fans on May the Fourth
May 4th, 2025 under Star Trek, Star Wars, William Shatner. [ Comments: none ]

Today is May the Fourth, a day we celebrate Star Wars. Something that Trekkies, including William Shatner, do not believe in.

So, Captain Kirk has a message for all the Jedi out there. He said, “REMEMBER STAR WARS FANS… WITHOUT THE FEDERATION; YOU WOULDN’T BE HERE! WE ARE YOUR FATHER! May The Fourth Be With You…Love Starfleet!”

And just like when Darth Vader told Luke Skywalker, “No, I am your father,” the Jedi are equally as horrified that they now have to send him a Father’s Day card.

Is it wrong that I wish that one day we can all live long and prosper as one? Granted, I am neither a Trekkie nor a Jedi! I am an Orkan, “Nanu, Nanu!”

Death Becomes Her’s Jennifer Simard sang the f-word on Today!
May 2nd, 2025 under Broadway. [ Comments: none ]

Fresh off of being nominated for ten Tonys, the cast of Death Becomes Her sang two songs on Today this morning.

Michelle Williams sang If You Want Perfection, and her performance was just that. Then, Megan Hilty, Christopher Sieber, and Jennifer Simard performed Tell Me, Ernest, and it was not perfect.

That is because of the end of the number, Simard sang it as she would on stage. However, that is on stage, and on live TV, you can’t sing, “So fucking glad.” But she did. And when she realized that she didn’t censor herself, she adorably reacted with, “Oops!”

Because of that, she had better bring home the Tony!

DBH extended its run at Lunt-Fontanne Theatre until next April.

CBS dethrones Queen Latifah
May 2nd, 2025 under Queen Latifah. [ Comments: none ]

Michael Greenberg/CBS

CBS had only one show that was waiting to find out if it would be back next season, and today they made their decision. The network opted not to renew The Equalizer, even though there were rumors that it could come back for a shortened sixth and final season.

Queen Latifah, who starred on the series, reacted to the cancellation. “Stepping into a kick-ass role like Robyn was everything I hoped it would be. Shakim and I at Flavor Unit are always excited to bring these kinds of roles and projects to life—and then we just hope you love them as much as we do. The Equalizer blew past every dream we had for it, and having the opportunity to do this for five seasons honestly feels surreal.

“Thank you to our amazing cast, crew, and producers and writers! And I can’t say enough about the FANS!Y’all have been so loyal, so loud, and so ride-or-die—and that’s exactly why we keep doing this. We can’t thank you enough. It means the world to us.

“And don’t worry—I’ll be back kicking ass in something new real soon. Can’t wait to share it with you.”

The procedural’s final episode will air this Sunday.

RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars is back for season 10, and they are changing things up for the milestone season!

For the first time ever, RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars will introduce a brand-new format across twelve episodes: the Tournament of All Stars. The queens will be divided into three groups of six, each competing in their own bracket across three episodes. At the end of each bracket, the top three queens with the highest point totals will advance to the semi-finals, where they’ll go head-to-head with the top queens from the other groups in another round of fierce competition over two episodes. The tournament will then culminate in an epic Lip Sync Smackdown for the Crown grand finale episode, where the finalists will battle it out for a grand prize of $200,000 and a place in the coveted Drag Race Hall of Fame.

And if it is going to be the 10th season, then you better have some judges that make the Queens want to work, and they do. The guest judges include Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Colman Domingo, Kate Beckinsale, Ice Spice, Chappell Roan, Susanne Bartsch, Adam Shankman, Jamal Sims, Mayan Lopez, Devery Jacobs, and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Who are this season’s All Stars? They are Acid Betty, Aja, Alyssa Hunter, Bosco, Cynthia Lee Fontaine, Daya Betty, DeJa Skye, Denali, Ginger Minj, Irene the Alien, Jorgeous, Kerri Colby, Lydia B Kollins, Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Nicole Paige Brooks, Olivia Lux, Phoenix, and Tina Burner.

The first two episodes will stream on May 9th.
