What is better than one Dr. Best on Fox’s Best Medicine? Two of them. On Tuesday, that is what we are going to get when Martin Clunes, who played the title role in the United Kingdom’s Doc Martin, the show this one is originated from, guest stars as Dr. Martin Best’s (Josh Charles) dad.
When Martin’s parents (Clunes and Judith Ivey) make a surprise visit, Martin suspects that his father, Robert, blindsides his sister Sarah with some infuriating news, is experiencing a serious health condition. Also, while trying to avoid the school’s forthcoming closure during its annual Spirit Week sleepover, Louisa is made acting principal, and Martin and Robert must work together.
If you are not watching Best Medicine, you are missing out on a quirky, small town medical drama with a huge heart.
It is very rare that a collaboration surprises me, but for some reason, seeing that Dunkin’ and Buffalo Wild Wings joined forces for an alcohol drink surprised me.
The Boozy Dunkin’ Cold Brew is made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream, vanilla, and Dunkin’ Cold Brew, then topped with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, and Dunkin’ sprinkles.
That is enough to get me into their restaurant, but that is not their only new offering. They also added King’s Hawaiian Cheeseburger Sliders, three sauces: Sweet Chili Crisp Sauce, Lemon Pepper Sauce, and Lemon Pepper Hot Sauce Mashup, and the Kickin’ Chicken Sandwich (B-Dubs’ Chipotle BBQ dry rub seasoning, creamy kick of Pepper Jack cheese, crisp chile-lime slaw, tangy pickled hot peppers and savory house-made bacon aioli) to their menu.
All of the above are rolling out between now and March Madness.
I don’t know about you, but I found Sullivan’s Crossing on Netflix and binged it in a week. However, in the United States, it airs on The CW first. And today, we found out when season 4 will premiere.
In the upcoming season, Maggie Sullivan’s (Morgan Kohan) life at the Crossing is finally taking shape having decided on a new direction for her career and a renewed commitment to Cal (Chad Michael Murray). That is, until Maggie’s ex-husband, Liam (Marcus Rosner), arrives with a shocking revelation which only upends Maggie’s life once again and causes Cal to question whether Maggie will ever truly be able to leave her past behind.
Will she? We will find out starting on April 20th. And I will be watching!
Scrubs is back on ABC tonight. But yesterday, Zach Braff was on Jeopardy, reading the category Fake Doctors, Real Actors.
While he did a great job, the clues were disappointing. They were easy, but missed a lot of great TV doctors. And yes, Grey’s Anatomy was represented because that seems to be the only medical show out there.
Seriously, why didn’t they have this question: “This actor starred in a sitcom and drama with the same title, ER.”
Every year, when the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announces their nominees, I am like, “WTF are they thinking?” This year, I am shocked to say they did a good job on who they nominated for 2026.
Who are the nominees? They are: The Black Crowes, Jeff Buckley, Mariah Carey, Phil Collins, Melissa Etheridge, Lauryn Hill, Billy Idol, INXS, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, New Edition, Oasis, P!NK, Sade, Shakira, and Luther Vandross.
I hope they induct Phil Collins because I am not sure how much longer he has. I know that sounds bad. But they missed out on inducting The New York Dolls when one of them was still alive.
They also better induct Billy Idol because the people spoke last year, and they wanted him. And they are going to want him again this year.
When it comes to the rest, Sade is the only one who I think is not worthy.
Who do you think should join the Hall of Fame this year?
