Last week, there were rumors that Paula Farris left The View and looks like she is not the only one. Page Six is reporting that Sara Haines is giving up the talk show to host the third hour of Good Morning America with Michael Strahan at 1p that debuts in September.
Haines joined ABC in 2013 and The View in 2016 after several guest appearances.
Haines departure leaves Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Meghan McCain on the panel and I think that is just enough screaming head at the table. What about you?
UPDATE: GMA made the new official today. Haines wrote on social media, “Ahhhhhhhh!! Not even sure I can find the words to adequately express how excited I am to sit next to @michaelstrahan as we embark on this new journey at @GMA #GMADay…it is (and has been) a dream of mine for a LONG time. It’s bittersweet though as I leave @theviewabc, a place I have called home for the past couple years. A huge thank you to all the viewers and fans who have followed me along the way. Jason Ritter stars in the very endearing, must watch Kevin (Probaly) Saves the World Tuesdays at 10p on ABC, and his character has to hug people to help save the world. Therefore, ABC declared today National Hug-a-Kevin Day. Where are Kevin Bacon and Kevin Spacey when you need him? And ladies, I am pretty Kevin Hart’s wife would not like you to hug him today. Too soon?
Anyways, to honor the day, yesterday on The View, Ritter attempted to break the Most Hugs in Minute. The record belongs to someone who hugged 79 people in :60 seconds. Is Ritter now in the Guinness Book of World Records? Yes he is! He hugged 86 people in the allotted time and some more afterwards. Proving that he is not probably, but he is the most huggable guy in the world.

Today on The View, the show welcomed Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin on to talk about their Netflix show Grace and Frankie. The season the two women are getting into the vibrator business and that put the ABC talk show into a conundrum. The V word is one of the words you cannot say on their program.
Yes, Vibrator is a dirty word. Who knew? Maybe if more Republicans could say it, they would not be so eager to cut off women’s health. They have no problem saying Viagra and that is still funded by them and allowed to be said on daytime televion. Especially, since I am assuming almost almost all of them need it.
But this is not a political post, per se. Therefore, I just have one thing to say, “Vibrator, vibrator, vibrator!!!”
When it comes to Grace and Frankie, if Netflix was smart, they would totally sell that vibrator and those condoms. I don’t know about you, but after binge watching the show yesterday, I want both! Especially the vibrator! They made it sound like it really gets the job done.
If you have not seen Grace and Frankie, then spend your time binge watching it. The acting and the writing on this show is phenomenal. It is also proves that older actors are better than most of the younger ones because they do stuff that those whipper snappers cannot. How did Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston not get nominated for their roles as Fonda and Tomlin’s ex-husband’s who left them to become not Mr & Mr? Plus, Fonda and Tomlin also deserve nominations. In other words, I really love Grace and Frankie.
Jamie Dornan was talking about how awkward it is to do sex scenes with Dakota Fanning in Fifty Shades Darker on The Graham Norton Show, and he included Keanu Reeves and Whoopi Goldeberg, who were also on the talk show with him, in on the discussion. The Oscar winner chimed in and said, “This is why I love him, cause he includes me in…These guys know that sex scenes are just really hard. It’s like, no babe!”
Believe it or not, with all of the movies Whoopi has done, she hasn’t gotten any whoopi in them. Her sex life in them is like a Ghost and dead. The BBC host wanted to know if that was her decision, and she said, “Nooooo!” Then Christian Grey reassured her that there is still time for that. Which if they were to have one, it would give new meaning to Fifty Shades Darker. Could you imagine? Let’s not and say we did because that is a View we can live without. Kind of like The View.
Whoopi Goldberg was telling Graham Norton on his BBC talk show about getting older and then she started talking about losing her hair. Keanu Reeves mistakenly asked her what she meant because she looks like she has a full head of hair. She does. Up there, just not down there anymore. Keanu’s face says it all.
Yes, I am not quoting exactly what she says because it was bad enough. I have that image in my head from the first time she told and I don’t want to hear it again. No one does. It is a View that won’t leave your for a while.
Oh here’s a story, when I first moved to LA I remember her telling us she looks like a skunk between her legs. That was bad, this is worse. On positive note, now she no longer looks like skunk. That’s cause her pussy looks like one of those pussies with no hair. Image, stuck.
