Britney Spears and Simon Cowell were on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote The X Factor and the ABC late night host had them play something like the Newlywed Game. For the last question he asked them what body part does the other person find the sexiest. The King of Mean thought the Pop Queen would say his butt, but she surprised us all by saying his chest hair. When it was her turn, she thought her co-mentor thought her arms were sexy. Well Simon is a male and he said it is “her t!ts”. Her expression to his answer was perfect. I guess she is that innocent!
Simon Cowell is a guest on Ellen today and before the show started we got to see what his infamous black T-Shirts look like before he puts them on. Let’s just Britney Spears and Ellen DeGeneres were not the only ones who were surprised by how small they really are. It explains why they are so freaking tight on him.
Ever since Simon Cowell left American Idol to do The X Factor things don’t seem to be as good for him and his shows. Plus the rumor is that he paid Britney Spears a lot of money to be on the Fox singing competition show. Up until now I never thought he would be hurting financially because he made a lot of money off his in front of and behind the camera work. But then today he Tweeted a picture of him riding a scooter and I have to wonder if the man that loves to drive very expensive cars is finally feeling what the rest of us are going through with this crappy economy? Nope he said this with the picture from the Providence auditions, “No car showed up for me today….” While I did get some satisfaction that he had to find his own way to get to work, I enjoyed my theory more.
Tom Jones is joining The Voice over in The UK and he only had one request before he agreed to do the show. He believes that in order to be sitting up there finding the next singing sensation that he his co-mentors should all be singers who have worked professionally as one. According to the Press Association he said, “I watched other talent shows and I thought: Now hang on a minute. How can this person, not mentioning any names, but how can he or she give singers advice if they’ve never gone through it themselves?” He added, “I think you have to have stood up on that stage and gone for auditions, and be able to take the: You were great but no thank you. You have to be able to take that. And you have to have experienced that to be able to do it.”
Although he is not naming names, It’s Not Unusual to assume he is talking about Simon Cowell. But I guess he will be saying What’s New Pussycat when he finds out the King of Mean sang a song in the late ’80s called Ruff Mixx dressed up as a dog when he was younger. So I guess you can say he is qualified to do it, now when it comes to LA Reid that is another story.
Simon Cowell is preparing for the second season of The X Factor yesterday and he Tweeted an idea I am totally down with. The King of Mean said, “Maybe the winner of @TheXFactorUSA this yr should compete with winner of The Voice & Idol in a super final. Just a thought. I’d be up for it” Throw in America’s Got Talent, Nashville Star, The Sing-Off and whatever other singing show I am forgetting about and I would totally watch. Especially if the three male coaches from The Voice (Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and CeeLo Green) were joined by Cowell on the judging panel and Ryan Seacrest hosted the show. Seriously it could air the last week May sweeps and it would get killer ratings.
The only person who is against it, is Nigel Lythgoe who Tweeted, “@simoncowell suggests the IDOL winner should take on the voice and x-factor winners. The problem is the Idol winner will be a star by then.” Yeah just like the person who won last year and the year before that and the year before that stop when you get to Carrie Underwood who was the last true star to come from Fox’s first singing competition. He then went on to say the show put out more stars than any other reality show. That is because it has been on the longest. I guess Nigel is blinded by the light of reality reflecting off of his huge capped teeth.
