Britney Spears released a memoir called The Women in Me last year, and now Universal is turning it into a movie. According to The Ankler, Wicked and La La Land’s John M. Chu and Mark Platt (who she says has made her favorite movies) will direct and produce the biopic.
Now that we know it is happening, who do you think should play her? I think Chucky’s Alyvia Alyn Lind would be great in the title role. And if they turn it into a musical, she can sing.
Tenacious D are no strangers to singing covers, and today, Jack Black and Kyle Gass shared a video of them singing Britney Spears’ …Baby One More Time.
Do you know what? I think it is even better than Britney’s version! Because you can feel their fiery energy, and that is what makes the tune different and more exciting.

Britney Spears is more of a man than Justin Timberlake ever will be. That is because she is willing to apologize, unlike her ex-boyfriend, who she wrote in her book convinced her to get an abortion when she was 19.
Because of the backlash that came from that confession, her fans turned on the selfish singer. So when he released a song called Selfish last week, her pack went rabid and made her 2011 single of the same name climb the charts faster than his.
Well, I guess she did not approve because she released a statement on social media.
“I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry… I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish’ It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ???,” she wrote. “Ps ‘Sanctified’ is wow too”
Amazingly, she could apologize to him in a few days, while he has yet to publicly apologize to her. And it took him 17 years to apologize to Janet Jackson for what happened at the Super Bowl.
Can someone tell me why you like him? I never understood his appeal. He comes off as a dick to me, and not the type he has in a box.
It is not Britney Spears’ birthday. But yet she is wearing her birthday suit on the beach. Therefore, she is getting sun everywhere, even where it is not supposed to shine.
And now we know why she has a full-body tan. It is because her whole body is getting tanned.
For decades, we thought we knew everything about Britney Spears. But it turns out we didn’t know her at all. So she wrote a memoir, and today, she explained why she wrote The Women in Me.
My book’s purpose was not to offend anyone by any means!!! That was me then…that is in the past!!! I don’t like the headlines I am reading…that’s exactly why I quit the business 4 years ago!!! Most of the book is from 20 years ago…I have moved on and it’s a beautiful clean slate from here!!! I am here to establish it that way for the rest of my entire life!!! Either way, that is the last of it and shit happens!!! This is actually a book I didn’t know needed to be written …although some might be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future!!! Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel particularly alone in most cases or hurt or misunderstood!!! Again, my motive for this book was not to harp on my past experiences which is what the press is doing and it’s dumb and silly!!! I have moved on since then!!! #TheWomanInMe
And with that, the headlines will not change. But our perception of her will. Hopefully, for the better because now we know why she did some of the things she did.
