There have been so many TV shows from the ’80s and ’90s that have been revived, and some people would like to see Perfect Strangers be one of them. Well, the sitcom’s star has some thoughts about that.
“Remake…reboot? You can never recapture so just rewatch.” Bronson Pinchot wrote. He’s right. How many of them got it right? There was Will & Grace and Cobra Kai and Cobra Kai. Did I say, Cobra Kai?
Instead of me wanting a sequel for Perfect Strangers, I am just going to rewatch it. It still holds up because it was so sweet.
Bronson Pinchot woke up like that and he decided that today is going to be a day to just stay in bed. Seeing how comfortable he looks, can you blame him? We all need days like that.
Now let’s talk how about sweet he looks in bed, when did he become so sexy? I still think of him as the goofy Balki Bartokomous. On that note, when are we going to get a Perfect Strangers revival? I think it could still work. I am sure he and Cousin Larry are up for it.
Last year, ABC didn’t think that they needed sitcoms on Friday and they were very wrong. Therefore, they are making TGIF a thing again.
Remember in the ’90s our Fridays nights were full of Perfect Strangers, its spinoff Family Matters and Boy Meets World? Now in 2018, it is about ’90s based sitcom Fresh Off the Boat and modern-day’s Speechless.
Thus, someone at ABC thought it would be cool to merge the two eras with stars from the past and present. They are PS’s cousins Bronson Pinchot and Mark-Linn Baker, everyone’s favorite dad Reginald VelJohnson from FM, BMW teen dream queen Danielle Fishel, FOB’s Constance Wu and Randall Park, and Speechless’ John Ross Bowie and Cedric Yarbough.
You know if ABC were smart, they would do a massive revival of their old shows. Seeing the stars from yesteryear makes me miss them and Dinosaurs. I want my baby back because you gotta love him!
Until then I will be spending my Fridays with Fresh Off the Boat and Speechless starting on October 5th at 8p.
Back in the ’80s everyone loved Perfect Strangers’ Cousin Larry and Balki. Now in 2017, everyone is in love with the ’80s all over again thanks to Stranger Things. Therefore, Jimmy Kimmel Live decided to mash up the two for Perfect Stranger Things!
Mark Linn-Baker and Bronson Pinchot reprised their roles and added a new roommate for Netflix’s newest sitcom. Because everything old is new again these days. Therefore, keeping the old and adding Demogorgon makes it all new. As long as the Demogorgon doesn’t take off his mask because he is much uglier without it. Yikes.
Now that we have gotten to know Perfect Stranger Things, I cannot wait Full House of Cards with Bob Saget as the lead.
It has been almost 24 years since Perfect Strangers ended its 8 season run on ABC. Even though, Bronson Pinchot and Mark-Linn Baker have remained friends since the show ended in 1993, they have not done any press together since then. Last week, they did a radio interview together for 106.7 and talked about their time on the beloved sitcom.
Proving that Cousin Larry and Balki would still be living together after all of these years. So much so, I think they should do a revival of the show. This time instead of it taking place in Chicago, why not have it so that Cousin Larry moves in with Balki in Mypos. Larry is recently divorced and the kids have all moved out, so he is moving in with his cousin just like Balki did in 1986. I’d watch, would you?
