Deidre Hall has been on Days of our Lives for so long. How long? Her 5,000th episode will stream on Peacock on May 12th.
Since Hall made her debut on June 21st, 1976, Marlena Evans has been possessed, kidnapped, presumed dead, survived a plane crash, became a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, slapped several people, and kissed many men along with marrying some of them.
And that was just the first 5,000 episodes. I can’t wait to see what they do to her next.
Back to the 12th, according to Soap Opera News, Hall’s castmates will pay tribute to her on the Days of our Lives social media.
James Corden said goodbye to late night television yesterday. But before he signed off from The Late Late Show, he was visited by the Ghosts of Late Night Present: Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Fallon in his bedroom.
They instructed him that he cannot share the late night secrets with the world. But, they also showed him a glimpse of his future, thanks to the Ghost of Late Night Past, David Letterman.
And if that was not enough, we got a glimpse of what his life will be like in six months. And he is not going to be alone because Trevor Noah got visited by the same Ghosts.
This was a brilliant idea, and I am happy they all agreed to do it. But I have one question, where was Conan O’Brien???
A few months ago, there was a huge scandal on The View. Everyone wanted to know if Sarah Haines passed gas on the daytime talk show or if the sound we heard was her moving on her chair. Unfortunately, we never got the answer to Gasgate.
So yesterday, when Sunny Hostin was a guest on Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked her who cuts the cheese the most on the set? The answer is Whoopi Goldberg.
And now we know why she chose her first name. Since she sounds like Whoopie Cushion, she might as well call herself that!
Sarah was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune yesterday. However, she was not there to see Vanna White nor Pat Sajak. Instead, she really wanted to meet Jim Thornton because she is a huge fan of the announcer.
So when Sarah made it to the Bonus Round, the host did something special for her. He swapped places with Thornton so that she could play the game with him.
Her dream came true, even if she didn’t win the Bonus Round. But her bonus was much better than whatever was in that envelope.
