The Kissing Booth kisses and tells for the final time on August 11th
July 6th, 2021 under Jacob Elordi, Joey King, Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

Netflix has done a lot of great projects. However, I think one of its great productions is The Kissing Booth trilogy. On August 11th, Elle (Joey King) will finally have to decide between her boyfriend Noah (Jacob Elordi), his brother, and her BFF Lee (Joel Courtney), and herself. Who will she choose? We will find out next month in a movie that brings the teen out of all of us.

If you can’t wait until then to find out what happens next, then watch the first two movies on Netflix now to find out what happened first. They are so enjoyable; you will want to watch them over and over again as I do.

Oh, and if you were Elle, who would you choose?

Before Scarlett Johansson was one of the biggest movie stars in the World, she got her start in the movie North. How cute was the 8-year-old in that 1994 movie?

Val Kilmer is telling his story, his way
July 6th, 2021 under Val Kilmer. [ Comments: none ]

Ever since Val Kilmer was a kid, he has been walking around with a video camera. So, you can say he made himself feel natural in front of the camera before he got paid to do it.

Since he was walking around with a camera, he documented his life from before he was an actor to when he became one to living as one and everything in between. He filmed the good times and the bad times, including his bout with throat cancer.

Later this month, we are going to see his story about his that life isn’t his life in the doc Val. Hundreds of Top Secret videos will be released from his vault to create a 109-minute doc.

Just when you thought you knew all about Val Kilmer, it turns out you didn’t.

I have been a fan of his since Real Genius. Therefore, I can’t wait to see this movie. I want to get to know the person behind the laugh that I fell in love with when I was a kid.

Val will be in theaters on July 23rd and available on Amazon Prime on August 6th.

Joey Lawrence goes for a Swim on Tubi
July 6th, 2021 under Joey Lawrence, Tubi TV. [ Comments: 2 ]

Patrick McElhenney/FOX for TUBI

Tubi is the leader of streaming Horror movies with hundreds to choose from in all genres, from action to comedy to cult classics to scary as all f*ck.

In August, they are sinking their teeth into the original Horror movie business with Swim during their month-long BiteFest, aka Shark Month.

The movie is about a family vacation that goes from bad to worse to nightmarish. Joey Lawrence and his family get trapped in their vacation rental after a storm floods the place. They quickly find out they are not alone. There is a shark who decided to share the space with them. In order to escape the killer fish, they have to go to the upper floors. As the water rises, the beast rises with it. Will they be able to make out of their getaway alive, or will they run out of floors to hide from it on? We will just have to see with a movie that will make us want to holiday inland.

Swim is from director Jared Cohn (Shark Season) and the producers of Sharknado. The film also stars Jennifer Field (Artificial), Andy Lauer (Caroline in the City), and Rib Hillis (Extreme Makeover: Home Addition).

Since one shark flick is never enough, Tubi is streaming over 70 of them, including all four Jaws movies next month. Who needs the real thing when the make-believe is so much better?

Watch Kim Kardashian wipe out!
July 6th, 2021 under The Kardashians. [ Comments: none ]

Kim Kardashian and her family went on another expensive vacation. While she was on it, she decided to try surfing. Just like a lot of newbies, she wiped out.

Luckily for us, someone recorded it. Unfortunately for us, it was not Shark Week. Where were the sharks when we needed them? Dam (as in dams) Discovery, NatGeo, and Tubi for hogging all of them.
