I know that Priscilla is based on the true story of Priscilla Presley and how she fell in love with Elvis Presley when she was just 14 and he was 24.
Cailee Spaeny might be 26 in real life, but she still looks like she is a teenager. So I got the ick feeling while watching the trailer because I just felt that she was a teen. Even when she was supposed to be an adult. It just feels so cringeworthy.
Because of that, I will be skipping it. Even though Jacob Elordi seems to be convincing as King of Rock’n’Roll.
Sophia Coppola directed the biopic Priscilla which is based on Priscilla Presley’s book Elvis and Me. Therefore, you would think she would make sure the leads looked like the iconic couple they are playing.
However, in this photo, Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi do not look like the people they are playing. They look more like a couple going to a prom in the ’60s and not Elvis and Priscilla.
You would think after Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, she would’ve done a better job with authenticity. But I guess not.
Before Jacob Elordi was a guest on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, he was in the audience. He looks the same now as he did when he was 20 in that 2007 episode.
Jacob Elordi, like many actors these days, did an interview with Today remotely this morning. Because of that, he did it from his bedroom, and he had some people with him lying on the bed. They thought there were inconspicuous, but Hoda Kotb spotted them in the mirror.
So who are they? They are his parents, John and Melissa, who just flew in from Australia to see their son. And they were so embarrassed when he moved the camera over in their direction.
Then Jenna Bush wanted to know what they think of their son being a Hollywood heartthrob. His mom said, “lovely,” but his dad said, “do better.” So now we know where he gets his sense of humor from.
Although, I wonder how much they laugh when they watch him Euphoria. I really hope they don’t watch him in that, and they continue to only watch him in The Kissing Booth trilogy. No parent wants to see their child like we see him in the HBO series.
Jacob Elordi made his in-person talk show debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday with Modern Family’s Julie Bowen as a host.
At the end of the interview, she asked The Kissing Booth star if they use stunt penises on Euphoria since there is so much nudity on it. “Eric’s [Dane] penis is not his real penis. It is a stunt penis,” he said. “When you come into the makeup trailer, they’re all kind of set up.”
Why are they being held there? Because the makeup artists have to give them a makeover so that they look like the real thing. Is it wrong that I want that job? How do I get the job?
Oh, and I am assuming that the merkins are all in the hair trailer. That would make sense, right?
