Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton tied the knot over the weekend! Carson Daly officiated the wedding and shares an inside look at the special day. pic.twitter.com/re1QtTTVdw
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani finally tied the knot on Saturday. The newlyweds asked Carson Daly to marry them, and he told them to write their own vows. At first, the couple was hesitant, but then they eventually gave in.
Today on Today, Daly revealed some details about the biggest wedding of the year. He said that Stefani wrote beautiful vows for her husband that left everyone in tears. Daly then asked Shelton to top it, and he did. The Country singer wrote her song and played it for everyone on his guitar. That made everyone cry even more.
Will we hear this song? Daly did not know. But I am sure we will because they are such media whores.
However, Daly is not one, so he did not divulge much more information about their nuptials. But he did say it was a small wedding with just family. So it sounds like Adam Levine was not there, nor was he the wedding singer. Neither was any other celebrity who wanted to do it like Kelly Clarkson. Too bad. Maybe they will have a big party here in Los Angeles where everyone who wanted to sing on their special day can do it.
When it comes to why they asked The Voice host to officiate their ceremony, it is because he has been friends with Stefani for 25 years and Shelton since the start of the singing competition. He knew them before they got together and after they did. So you can say he really knew both of them. I wonder who he will get custody of in the divorce?
Paulina Porizkova loved her hotel bathroom in Rome so much that she had to share a photo of it. Although, I don’t think many people will be looking at the marble walls.
“My hotel Eden in Rome, has, besides a beautiful room I’m staying in, this pretty happening bathroom. After work and a leisurely bath, I was bored, which led to this celebration of narcissism, the naked selfie. What else was there to do? I mean, besides things like reading a good book or watching Italian TV. 😜But it made me wonder what would happen if you gave a man a mirror and a camera and lots of spare time, versus a woman,” she wrote. “And for all of you who have a rough time with nudity, this thread will not be a safe place for you. Godspeed. 😁”
If I had a body like hers at 56, I would show it off too. We should feel more comfortable in her skin. Maybe I will take a photo like that. Although, I will wait until I am in Italy because you know what they say, “When in Rome.”
Whenever I tune in to Jeopardy, I end up so far in the negative that I can’t even count that high. Or would it be that low?
Anyways, yesterday that had a category even my 7-year-old niece could answer every question correctly. What is it? Disney Songs. Press play, and see how well you would do if you were a contestant on that episode?
Not only did it feel good to answer every question correctly, but you also feel good thinking of all of those songs and movies again. The power of Disney.
Over the weekend, Fear Streat Part One: 1994 made a killing on Netflix. So much so, it left people wanting more, more, more. This Friday, we will be going back to 1978 for the prequel/sequel, Fear Street Part Two: 1978.
In this movie, we will find out how someone survived the 1978 massacre. And we will also witness how and why so many didn’t.
Then on July 16th, when we know all we can about Camp Nightwing, it is time to go back to 1666 for the final chapter in this trilogy that is also the beginning. Why wait 30 years to see a trilogy play out when you can see it all go down in three weeks.
Every town has a shady side, but no town has it as deadly as Shadyside.
