Back in the ’70s, people were addicted to watching Marla Gibbs on The Jeffersons, Todd Bridges on Diff’rent Strokes, Lisa Whelchel and Kim Fields on The Facts of Life and Glenn Scarpelli on One Day At a Time.
That was then, where are Florence, Willis, Blair, Tootie and Alex now? They all got together over the weekend at an event for the National Parks Conservation Association. While we got this amazing photo of them still looking totally far out, we also need to remember we need to preserve these parks. We want our kids to enjoy them as much as we did. Then we want their kids to enjoy it as much our kids did and so on.
Just like syndication, home video and streaming keep their shows alive, we need to keep out national parks thriving.
The most excitement in the White House briefing room in months. Reporters attempt to capture a baby mouse that fell on @PeterAlexander lap moments ago pic.twitter.com/6zWRZfTAaq
I guess there really are rats in the White House because today a baby mouse fell from the ceiling and landed on NBC’s Peter Alexander lap. Since Rachel Maddow was not there for him to give the exclusive to, he ran in to press room to see who would be a good alternate.
Since nothing has happened there in months, Shannon Pettypiece and the press got so excited they chased after him like he was Bob Mueller finally making an appearance there with some new information. All of them hoping to get the scoop and not having to scoop up after him.
Since he is a White House employee born in this administration, he was out of there before anyone knew his name. However, the pool got his name and it is Liddle’ Fuzzball. No word if he is the whistleblower, but he obviously knows something.
Let’s get serious for a moment. You know things are really going down at the WH over the impeachment proceedings because the rats are literally jumping ship.
To see Liddle’ (with a dash and not an apostrophe) Fuzzball’s face, then click here!
We always think of Meryl Streep as a winner. However, Jeopardy thinks of her as a loser. That is why they had a whole category called “I Beat Meryl”. They asked the contestants to name the actresses who beat her at different awards shows. Proving it is always an honor to just be nominated. Granted winning is better. Then again having a whole category dedicated to you on the game show is not too shabby. Even they do portray you as a loser.
YourEveryDayAsian found this McDonald’s ad from Japan. It has a very toned Ronald McDonald wearing just a red Speedo with their french fries sticking out it. Does that make you excited to have one of them in your mouth? You know, when you suck on one and a little liquid potato juice squirts on to your tongue. You cannot help but swallow that yummy fry.
Sorry, I got distracted for a second. Maybe this poster answers more than we ever wanted to know about their mascot. For the most part, he has length, but he definitely has no girth. When was the last time you had a big fat fry from them that filled up your whole mouth? You have to go to a deli or dinner to get one of those fries. With those, you can get satisfied with just one, with Mickey D’s you need several of them. However, it is not the size that matters, it is how they are cooked in their batters.
BTW, if that is where their fries come from, where do their hamburgers come from? Some things we do not what to know.
Later this year, The CW is going to take on their biggest crossover event yet. Between December and January: Supergirl, Batwoman, The Flash, Arrow, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will tackle Crisis on Infinite Earths along with characters from Black Lightning, Smallville, Bird of Prey, Batman: The Animated Series and a Superman movie. That is a HUGE!
Filming is going on now and we have seen photos from the set of some of the reunions or people putting on their old suits. While everything looks like it is fun to film, Arrow himself debunks that. Stephen Amell posted a photo from the hair and makeup and said, “Crisis On Infinite Earths is going great!” It does not look like things are going so great for Oliver Queen. Then again his days are numbered because as we know his show begins its final season next week.
While I don’t watch any of the DC Universe dramas anymore, I am looking forward to watching Crisis on Infinite Earths.
The Arrowverse event starts on December 8th with Supergirl, continues with Batwoman on December 9, The Flash on December 10th and then it will conclude with Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow on January 14, 2020. It is so massive, they need two years to tell it all.
