Back in 1994, when Friends announced they were ending? We were all shocked. Sounds like you were not alone. Today on Larry King Now, the host asked Matt LeBlanc if it “was time to go?”
Joey said, “Who knows? I didn’t feel like we were jumping the shark.” Then why did he agree to ending the sitcom? He added, “That was the general consensus, that it was time. Let’s go. Let’s get while the getting’s good. So we ended.”
Sounds like we know now why he was the one who got the spinoff. The rest were ready to move on and he was not. They needed someone for the spinoff, so it was him. Talking about jumping the shark, Joey was really bad.
To me, the show had jumped the shark a few years earlier, but I know not many people agree with me. When were you over Friends? Or are you over it?
Out of all of the pilots I watched for this season New Amsterdam was by far my favorite. Throughout the season it has stayed on top, not just for me but for millions of other people. Therefore, it makes sense that NBC asked the medical drama for a second season.
The show, that stars Ryan Eggold as the medical director of New Amsterdam, NYC’s biggest hospital, is unlike the other shows in the genre. Instead of focusing on the disease they focus on the patient. It is a strange concept, but it is why I love it. That and Eggold’s facial expressions deserve their own reward. I just want to hug him every time he does he this one thing with his face.
You have to see what I mean to understand what I am saying. If you have not seen the program yet, then watch it on the NBC app.
Kristoff St. John was found dead yesterday at his home from apparent natural causes according to TMZ.
The 52-year-old actor had his first on-camera gig back in 1975 when was just 8 years old in That’s My Mama and he never stopped acting. In the ’70s and ’80s, he starred in and guest starred on several shows and movies, but then in 1991, he got the job he is most known for. That is when he cast a Neil Winters on The Young & The Restless. A role that earned him 2 Daytime Emmy Awards, 9 nominations and countless fans.
In 2014, tragedy struck him and he was never the same. That is when his son Julian committed suicide in a mental health facility. After that, he went into a downward spiral. Things were looking up for him when he proposed to his girlfriend, Kseniya Mikhaleva, in September. His fiancee wrote this about him today, “How did it happen ??? How ??? Why did you leave so early ???? and left me alone ….. I can’t believe 💔💔💔💔 you were everything to me …. you were a loving father, a loving man,…..how 😢😢😢😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔 love??we should doing a lot of things in future……” Now instead of planning their wedding, they are planning his funeral.
If you know someone who needs help, then don’t hesitate but to get them help ASAP.
Joe Jonas and his fiancee Sophie Turner, Nick Jonas and his wife Priyank Chopra (in case you didn’t know they were married), Chord Overstreet and a few others spent Super Bowl weekend in Mammoth Lakes, California. After spending the day in the snow, they went inside to watch the big game. Well, I guess it was too much for the Glee star because he fell asleep.
Granted the game was boring, but that is not the point. When the newlyweds realized he dozed off, they tried to wake him up. Actually, Nick tried rubbing a tissue on his face. When that did not work, Chopra used her hand. That did the trick and he did not like the prank at first. Then he laughed and we laughed with him.
Who wants to tell them the better prank is to dip his hand in warm water. Oh, but then they would have to pay a cleanup fee for the soiled couch. Although, they can afford it. Therefore, we are back to dipping his hand in the warm water!
I like Maroon 5 and their songs, but I hated their Super Bowl half time performance. It is not their fault as much as they never should have been considered for it. They are just not the right band for that atmosphere. They need musicians who can get the people in nosebleed seats dancing. Bands like Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi or people who put on a spectacular show like Beyonce, Janet Jackson, P!nk and Bruno Mars. Maroon 5 is neither of those and that is not a bad thing. Thus why they were ripped a new one by almost everyone.
After the show, Adam Levine addressed being part of the show. He wrote, “When we accepted the responsibility to perform at the SBHTS, I took out my pen and just wrote. Some of the words that came to me in that moment eventually made their way onto the incredible lanterns that flew high and low tonight. We thank the universe for this historic opportunity to play on the world’s biggest stage. We thank our fans for making our dreams possible. And we thank our critics for always pushing us to do better. One Love. ❤️ And the list of words is…
“Forgive, Laugh, Cry, Smile, Share, Live, Endure, Embrace, Remember, Enlighten, Preserve, Inspire, Sweat, Fight, Express, Give, Receive, Elevate, Climb, Unify, Fortify, Soften, Dance, Scream, Dream, Educate, Provide, Inhale, Exhale, Persevere, Stand, Kneel, Overcome, Love and Listen.”
Thankfully, he is trying to make the experience as positive as possible. I mean, it is the greatest gig an American singer can get. We can never take that away from him or the band. It takes big balls to do that show, and People’s Sexiest Man Alive has them.
On a positive note, I really loved the pyrotechnics and the light show. See I can something nice.
