Celebrity IOU is returning to HGTV on June 21st, and it is going to be another star-studded season. Several celebrities are going to join Drew and Johnathan Scott to renovate the home of someone they care about.
The celebs appearing on the show this season are Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian West and Kendall Jenner, LeAnne Rhimes, Kevin Hart, Gwyneth Paltrow, Darren Criss, Josh Groban, Ali Wong, and Howie Mandel.
“Drew and I continue to be humbled by how many of these huge celebrities entrust us to be a part of their personal acts of kindness,” said Jonathan. “They can’t wait to roll up their sleeves and make these new spaces a reality as quickly as possible. The projects—and the fun—just keep getting bigger.”
“Each new story of thanks and appreciation makes such a huge impression on us,” said Drew. “That’s the magic of Celebrity IOU. We all want to give back to the people we love, and seeing others do just that brings out all the good emotions.”
Most people are going to tune for the emotions. Not me. I am going to watch it to see them suffer as they try to use tools to renovate the houses.
Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes are getting a reality show on VH1 and his sons will not be on it. According to InTouch Weekly since he wouldn’t let his boys appear on his ex-wife’s show Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the same rules applies to him. So they will be recast his sons, along with his ex-wife, Brandi Glanville. Who do you think should play her? I am going with Nicollette Sheridan.
LeAnn Rimes was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! yesterday and she was just guest and not a performer because she busted a blood vessel on her vocal cords due to allergies. In fact it is so bad that after she appeared on the show, doctors told her she couldn’t talk for at least two weeks. Which I am sure made a lot of people happy, but unfortunately she still has Twitter. So we might not be able to hear her but that means we can still read what she has to say.
And some of her haters will be able to hear in April because she told the ABC late night host that some of the songs on her upcoming album are related to what has been happening in her life. I doubt that Brandi Glanville will want to hear any of the songs off of Spitfire, just like LeAnn doesn’t want to watch any episodes of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
I guess picking out which bikini to wear for your latest Instagram pic is really stressful because LeAnn Rimes entered a treatment facility for stress and anxiety on Wednesday. Her rep told People “LeAnn has voluntarily entered a 30 day in-patient treatment facility to cope with anxiety and stress,” Marcel Pariseau added, “While there will be speculation regarding her treatment, she is simply there to learn and develop coping mechanisms. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.”
Even though she just entered the place yesterday, she already spoke with People about it by saying “This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be,” she says.”All the things in my life will be there when I get out, but you know what? I’m hoping they’re not going to affect me as much,” she adds. “I’ll have the tools to know how to deal with them.”
The magazine said that she will honor her scheduled weekend tour dates and then go back to the facility on the weekdays. So you ticket holders don’t have to worry about her cancelling on you.
