Kevin Hart says tonight’s Live In Front of a Studio Audience is a sh!t show | December 7th, 2021 under ABC, Jimmy Kimmel, Kevin Hart. [ Comments: none ] | Tonight at 8p on ABC, Jimmy Kimmel and Norman Lear are bringing back Live In Front of a Studio Audience for a third round. This time they are doing Diff’rent Strokes and The Facts of Life. Yesterday, the casts of both recreations were on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about the special. When the late night host asked who was going to curse live on the air, they all mostly agreed that it is going to be Hart, who is playing Arnold Jackson. Hart responded with, “I’ll tell you the truth Jimmy, You know, your a producer on this thing. You haven’t been here. This is a sh!t show. We don’t feel comfortable. We are not confident that this is going to work. A lot of us contemplated walking today. Like we weren’t going to go through with it. So I think a lot of curse words are going to be coming out of my mouth. My career is over after this because you got me good, Jimmy.” Is it going to be that bad? We will find out in a few hours. I know Hart was kidding, but I think he is more on the money than he would like to think. Many of these actors do not have live experience. Doing a live show with no cuts or redos is much harder than it looks to be. Finally, who believes Allison Tolman when she claimed that Jennifer Aniston, America’s Sweetheart, is bullying her on the set? She said she was joking, but do you think she was telling the truth. If you do, then raise your hand. ✋
| Catherine O’Hara loses another Kevin | November 10th, 2021 under Kevin Hart. [ Comments: none ] | Back in 1990, Catherine O’Hara left her young son, Kevin McAlister, Home Alone. Now, 31 years later, she lost another Kevin. However, this time she lost him in a department store. In her defense, you can’t blame her because Kevin Hart is the same height as Macaulay Culkin was in the movie. I am their height, so I can say that. He might be short, but he has a big spending limit on his Chase Freedom Card. One of the many things I love about the holiday season is when they come up with commercials that are throwbacks to yesteryear like this one. Thank you, Chase, for making my day!
| Kevin Hart cast two sitcom legends for parents | September 14th, 2021 under Kevin Hart. [ Comments: none ] | Kevin Hart is doing another movie for Netflix, and he revealed who will be playing his parents in Me Time. They are Good Times’ John Amos and Amen’s Anna Maria Horsford. I don’t know about you, but them, along with Regina Hall, is enough to make me want to see this film that will stream next fall. I just hope it doesn’t make me cry like Fatherhood. Great movie, but a real tearjerker. I have enough reasons to cry as it is.
| Lots of news from ABC, including JoJo Siwa getting a same-sex partner on DWTS | August 26th, 2021 under ABC, Dancing with the Stars, JoJo Siwa, Kevin Hart, Shark Tank, Steve Harvey. [ Comments: none ] | Today is ABC’s TCA Summer Press Day, and they had a lot of news to share. They started it off by announcing that Kevin Hart will be a Shark on Shark Tank. Does he have businesses that qualify him for the show? I guess we will find out like we did when Alex Rodriquez was a Shark. Steve Harvey is going to be Judge Steve Harvey for 10-episodes in 2022. The judge, the jury, and the star of the series, Harvey, will welcome a variety of conflicts and characters to his courtroom – from small claims to big disputes and everything in between. Steve plays by his own rules, basing his courtroom on his own life experiences and some good old common sense. The show is casting now, so if you got a case for him, then apply here. Talking about casting, Dancing with the Stars announced their first two stars. They are Olympic Gold medalist Suni Lee and JoJo Siwa. The recently out teen millionaire will be the first contestant in 30 seasons to dance with a same-sex pro. We don’t know who it is, but I hope they get Julianne Hough to do it. DWTS doesn’t need to name any more stars because Siwa is going to win. Between the fan base, the same-sex partner, and the fact that she was on Dance Moms and Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition means she knows how to dance. Finally, The Conners are going live for their season premiere on September 22nd, and you can appear on the show virtually as a long-lost relative. As part of the storyline, a Conner family member will call each lucky sweepstakes winner for a live conversation regarding how they deal with some of the same life issues that the Conners navigate on a daily basis. Want to be a Conner, then enter the sweepstakes here.
| What it looks like when a normal sized person poses with Kevin Hart | August 18th, 2021 under Kevin Hart. [ Comments: none ] | Kevin Hart took a photo with his Real Husbands of Hollywood co-star Boris Kodjoe and shared it with us to see. At least, I think it is Boris Kodjoe. It is hard to tell because they couldn’t fit his face in it as well as Hart’s. Hart is so little that even his underwear is higher than his jeans. Now, I shouldn’t pick on Hart too much. That is because the Station 19 is 6’4″ and most men would look short stanging next to him. Plus, I am short too. And good things come in small packages.
