Before Dolly Parton revealed she would love to sing a duet with Keith Urban, he was singing her songs all by himself. How talented was the 11-year-old, with his signature mullet, singing Applejack back in 1970?
Dolly Parton was recently on GMA talking about her cake line with Duncan Hines, and they asked her who she would like to do a duet with.
“Probably any of the good looking ones,” she said. “I love Keith Urban. I’ve always thought he was one of the most talented cutest guys in the World…I love his writing. And I just think he is dear. So I would be happy to make a big old cake for him and spend all afternoon singing songs.”
The word got back to Mr. Nicole Kidmam, and he wrote to Miss Dolly, “Name the time and place
@DollyParton… we’ll be there.” I am surprised that he didn’t just show up at her doorstep as soon as he heard. That is what I would have done if she said she would want to do anything with me. I wouldn’t give her time to change her mind.
Oh, and Parton wants Kidman to know that she is not trying to hit on her husband. Actually, she paid the Oscar nominee a compliment and called her “Jolene.” Hmmm, is that really a compliment???
CBS parted ways with the American Country Music awards, and Prime Video picked it up. Therefore, they wanted to go big, and they are. They asked Dolly Parton if she would do it, and she said yes!
Actually she said, “I am so excited to be hosting the ACM Awards on March 7 from Vegas. Watch for us because we’re going to have some fun.”
I am not a huge fan of Country Music or awards shows, but I am going to be watching this one because of Miss Dolly.
However, I don’t know why they think she needs co-hosts to help her. She can do it all by herself unless they are thinking of asking Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin to do it!

Dolly Parton is getting into the baking business, and she teamed up with Duncan Hines to release some of her favorite treats in March.

I can’t wait to buy them all and make my friend bake them for me. I will make sure to get them before I get period because they will chase those PMS Blues go away.
Dolly Parton turned 76 today, so to honor it, she shared a photo of herself in her birthday suit. But wait, she is still wearing clothes. Yes, she is, but she is wearing a suit, and it is her birthday. Therefore, it is her birthday suit.
Since she made the joke, I am making it for clickbait. That and I get to wish America’s Most Loved Living Lady a very happy birthday. And I wish for her to have many, many, many more!
