NBC announced today that Emmy winner and comedy superstar Chevy Chase ("Caddyshack," "Fletch") begins filming this week on NBC’s "Law & Order." Chase first came to national prominence as a writer and performer with the original cast of NBC’s "Saturday Night Live," for which he won two Emmy Awards. He has since starred in more than 20 films, including "Foul Play," "Caddy Shack," "National Lampoon’s Vacation" and its three sequels, "Fletch" and "The Three Amigos." Most recently, Chase started opposite Naomi Watts in "Ellie Parker," which premiered at last year’s Sundance Film Festival. He will next be seen the in the comedy "Funny Money," which opened this year’s Sarasota Film Festival in March.
