Back in February, Netflix announced that they were working on a sequel to A Different World, the 1987 spinoff of The Cosby Show. Today, they revealed that it is happening.
According to Tudum, the series will center around Tony winner Maleah Joi Moon (Hell’s Kitchen), who will star as Deborah, the free-spirited, well-intentioned yet rebellious youngest child of Dwayne Wayne (Kadeem Hardison) and Whitley Gilbert’s (Jasmine Guy) characters. The series follows Deborah as she enters her freshman year at their HBCU alma mater and finds the shadow of her parents difficult to escape. She sets out to build her own legacy — while having the time of her life — alongside a whole new generation of Hillman’s best and brightest.
“There couldn’t be a better time than now to reboot A Different World,” Debbie Allen, who will return as a director, told Tudum. “Our show changed lives, tripled the enrollment of historically black colleges and gave a strong voice and platform for Young Black America. The incredible fresh young talent we have discovered paired with the lovable audience favorite OGs makes this much-anticipated return a must-see on Netflix.”
The first season will consist of 10 episodes. And you can watch all six seasons of the OG on the streamer to prepare for the sequel.

Tomorrow night, Dancing with the Stars is celebrating its 20th anniversary, and they are bringing together all of the pros from the first season to do a special performance, which is choreographed by Derek Hough.
Even though they are professional dancers, they still need to rehearse. Louis Van Amstel (Trisra Sutter) shared a photo of himself reunited with Alec Mazo (Kelly Monaco), Edyta Śliwińska (Evander Holyfield), Ashly DelGrosso (Joey McIntyre), Charlotte Jørgensen (John O’Hurley), and Jonathan Roberts (Rachel Hunter).
Seeing them together makes me miss the days before the ballroom got taken over by Derek and Julianne Hough and Mark Ballas. Tell me it wasn’t so much better before they joined.

Therefore, he knows the name of his final album. What is it called? It is perfectly titled…Eject! He will even have the record’s track list ready because he has often wondered whether the late artists wanted their songs in that order on their posthumous recordings.
Even though it sounds like Eject will be part of the Stereo era, hopefully, he will be able to give us a few more eras before he is ejected from the Earth. First dances at weddings can always use more of his songs as suggestions.
