Before Idris Elba was a detective on Luther, he delivered pizza in space in Space Precinct. He looks the same now as he did when he was 22 in that 1994 episode.
Yesterday, Nick Cannon and Kevin Hart said they had a new game show coming to E! where women would compete to be Cannon’s next baby mama.
There was something about it that made me wonder if they were pranking us, and they were.
Today, E! (whom I thrust) announced that the two comedians/friends will be hosting Celebrity Prank Wars starting on April 6th.
It’s an all-out war as one celebrity pranks another, and the payback begins. Each episode will feature celebrities planning and perpetrating some of the wildest and most viral pranks on each other as hosts Nick Cannon and Kevin Hart choose one winner of the Prank War. Celebrities are always trying to up the ante as each prank is more elaborate than the next – all of them with unexpected twists, embarrassing situations and shocking reveals. Celebrities would be smart to stay on high alert with these pranksters in town!
So who are the celebrities that are pranking their friends? They are Anthony Anderson, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Lil Duval, Big E, Fantasia, Tiffany Haddish, Taraji P. Henson, Lil Jon, Kofi Kingston, Ludacris, Joel McHale, Killer Mike, Chance The Rapper, T-Pain, Robin Thicke, T.I. and Xavier Woods.
Hart and Cannon are no strangers to pranking each other. The two had a public prank war that ended with Hart putting Cannon’s phone number on a billboard in Los Angeles.
Jimmy Fallon is an actor and a comedian, but I think he would also love to be a singer. So it makes sense that he would audition for The Voice to see if any of the coaches would turn their chairs around for him during a blind audition.
So, The Tonight Show host came out singing Michael McDonald’s I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near) just like the singer.
Was it good enough for the coaches? Kelly Clarkson was the first one to turn around, and Niall Haron was right behind her. They broke into laughter, so Chance the Rapper had to see what they were laughing about. And he topped their reaction, partially because he thought it was the real Michael McDonald. How does he even know who McDonald is?
What about retiring coach Blake Shelton? He knew there was something up, so he didn’t hit the button. But don’t worry, Fallon did it for him. And what did Mr. Gewn Stefani think of his friend’s performance? “It didn’t take me long to figure out it was Jimmy Fallon, and there was no way I was going to hit my button,” the Country singer said. “He does not deserve a chair turn on this show. Jimmy’s impersonation is the equivalent of walking up to Michael McDonald and slapping him in the face as hard as you can.”
I wish that Fallon and Shelton had a reality show where they took each other to try new things because Blake is a little bit Country, and Fallon is a little bit Rock’n’Roll.
There is just something about Idris Elba that leaves women weak in their knees. And we got to see that happen on live television today.
Kelly is a huge fan of the actor, so she woke her husband up very early to go see Luther live in person on Today. She wanted to make sure she got a good place, so they got there at 4a. And that didn’t go unnoticed by the producers of the NBC news program.
So they brought the couple inside so that she could have the best seat in the house. Not only that, they called her out on the show.
She was so enamored by the actor that she was left starstruck. She was shaking, crying, and in awe. And he was so sweet to her and her husband. So, that makes me love him even more.
BTW If I were Savannah, I would’ve asked Kelly who is her Hall Pass. Could you imagine if she said anyone other than Elba?
Pat Sajak might be 76 years old, but he is not too old to experience new things. The other night on Wheel of Fortune, he tried something he had never done before.
What was it? Greg, a contestant on the gameshow, is one of Santa Claus’ helpers south of the North Pole. He has been doing that job for 25 years, and 6 years ago, he did something to make himself more authentic. He decided to grow out a beard.
Well, Sajak was wondering if kids pull on Greg’s beard to see if it is real. And they do. That is when the gameshow host asked if he could give the facial hair tug, and Greg agreed.
The beard is real, and Sajak declared, “I have never done that. And I will never do it again.”
