It has almost been a month since Nexstar acquired The CW, and I already hate them. , First, they cancelled Nancy Drew. Then, they did the same to DC’s Stargirl. Today, they opted not to order any additional episodes from their two new dramas, The Winchesters and Walker: Independence. Meaning that both series are only getting a 13-episode first season.
While that sounds grimmer than the demons The Winchesters go after, Deadline says that both shows could get a second season.
If Nexstar cancels all of The CW shows at the end of the season, they will get cancelled themselves. When The WB and UPN merged to give us The CW, they kept a few shows like Supernatural. If Nexstar doesn’t do the same, then they will lose all the viewers they had.
And if they cancel the Supernatural spinoff, I hope Netflix or HBO Max saves it. It is too good to only last 13 episodes.
What is scarier than the version of Peter Pan that NBC gave us? Jagged Edge Productions, the people who are giving us Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey announced today that are working on Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare. Which makes you wonder if sweet, little Tinkerbell is going to feed off of blood to get her power back. And how jealous will Captain Hook is not the villain of the story?
It has been almost 39 years since we got to know Ralphie Parker in A Christmas Story. And since then, we have wanted more. Well, we will get just that on November 17th because he is coming home for Christmas. And it is his job to make it as special for his kids as his dad did for him when he was a kid.
Ralphie is married to Sandy (Erinn Hayes), and they have two children, Julie (Julianna Layne) and Mark (River Drosche). Together the four of them are going to have a jolly old holiday with his mom (Julie Hagerty), his brother (Ian Petrella), his friends, Flick (Scott Schwartz) and Schwartz (R.D. Robb), and his childhood bully Scut (Zack Ward).
However, getting to Christmas Day won’t be that easy, but that is what makes the Parkers’ holidays so much fun.
So mark your calendars because you are not going to want to miss A Christmas Story Christmas on HBO Max.
This is the third season that Tyra Banks has been hosting Dancing with the Stars, and most people wish we could vote her off.
While that is how we feel at home, the judges have been quiet about the mistakes she makes, the unnecessary small talk she has with the contestants, and the stuff that they dress her in.
Well, things seemed to be a little different yesterday because Head Judge Len Goodman called her out on a stupid thing she said.
Goodman told Charli D’amelio and Mark Ballas that their dance made him feel like “I was transported to some club in Argentina.” To which Tyra told him, “I heard the audience kind of make a sound when Len said he was transported to a club in Argentina.” Then she made it seem like he was talking about a modern-day dance club that young people go to.
And then she added that she thought the audience was like, “Whatcha talkin’ about a club?” That is when a frustrated Goodman told the host, “I don’t know what you are talking about?”
He and the other judges have been silent long enough. Time for them to start calling her out on the stupid things she says. She adds nothing to show but misery. Hopefully, this season will be her last, and they will let my JHS alum, Alfonso Ribeiro do it by himself from now on. We know he can do it.
