Today is Star Trek Day, and Paramount+ has a present for you. They released a teaser for the third and final season of Picard.
In case you hadn’t heard, this season Sir Patrick Stewart will be joined by his old co-stars from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan, and Michelle Hurd.
In this preview, we are getting to see them together again. And I know that is making Trekkies all over the world happy.
It is a perfect sendoff for the legendary characters, and we can witness their final frontier starting on February 16th. I hope the fans can wait that long. Not that they have a choice, but still.
The Good Doctor will be back for its 6th season on October 3rd. That means the show will be airing its 100th episode this season, and yesterday they celebrated the milestone with a cake cutting with the show’s stars, Richard Schiff, Hill Harper, Savannah Welch, Fiona Gubelmann, Christina Chang, Freddie Highmore, Bria Henderson, Will Yun Lee, and Brandon Larracuente.
I think now that they have hit the syndication milestone, the medical drama’s fate past this season will be decided soon. And I have a feeling this will be the series’ final season.
Queen Elizabeth II passed away this afternoon at the age of 96. She is the only monarch most of us knew because she spent 70 years on the throne and celebrated her Jubilee a few months ago.
It is such a sad day because Her Royal Highness was so iconic and respected. It was hard not to love her. She might not have been our Queen, but it felt like she belonged to all of us.
And now, the Queen has been reunited with her husband, Prince Phillip, who died on April 9, 2021.
The Queen will be succeeded by her son, Charles, who is now the King.
UPDATE: King Charles III released a statement about his mother’s passing.
The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family.
We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much loved Mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.
During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held.
Vanna White begins her 40th season on Wheel of Fortune this Monday, and she has a gorgeous wardrobe lined up for the job.
The host gave us a preview of some of the gowns she will be wearing, and they are as beautiful as she is.
The 65-year-old gets prettier and prettier with each turn of the wheel. I would love to know her secret because she never ages. Her Fountain of Youth is obviously working.
Look at her without any makeup on and tell me that she is a senior citizen. She doesn’t look like any that I have known.
