Jimmy Fallon spent his holiday break with a breakthrough case of COVID-19
January 3rd, 2022 under Coronavirus, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: 1 ]

Jimmy Fallon finished taping his shows in December, and NBC had a little Christmas present for him. It was so special; they locked The Tonight Show host up in a room to give it to him. What was it?

“Hey guys, on the first day of our holiday break I tested positive for Covid. I was vaccinated and boostered which made me lucky enough to only have mild symptoms,” Fallon wrote. “Thank you to the doctors and nurses who work so hard around the clock to get everyone vaxxed. Thank you to NBC for taking the testing protocols so seriously and doing a great job – and also thanks for putting me in the ‘What ‘chu talkin’ about Willis?’ isolation room when they told me the news.”

That was then, today he was back hosting his show. So, in other words, he is doing better.

UPDATE: Jimmy Fallon talked about how he found out he had COVID-19 on The Tonight Show. To hear what he had to say, then click here!

BTWF: Betty White hosting The Betty White Show
January 3rd, 2022 under Before They Were Famous, Betty White. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQRdsXU1Mok

Before Betty White was all the hosts’ favorite talk show guest, she was hosting her self-titled talk show with a controversial guest.

I don’t know if you read the story over the weekend, but here it is. In 1954, White had booked Arthur Duncan, an African-American tap dancer on her show, and the Southern States told her to cancel him. She told them, “He stays. Live with it!” She then proceeded to book him two more times before her show got cancelled.

That is why we love her so much! As someone wrote, “You know you are loved if at 99 people say you died too young.” But that was Betty, and that is how we feel.

And how do you feel about seeing her hosting her show and singing when she was 32 in that 1954 episode?

NCIS and NCIS: Hawaii are joining forces in March for one night
January 3rd, 2022 under CBS, NCIS, Wilmer Valderrama. [ Comments: none ]

NCIS Special Agent Jessica Knight (Katrina Law) and NCIS Special Agent Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) are taking a trip to the Aloha state, and we will get to see what happens when they meet up with NCIS: Hawaii on March 28th.

I am sure it was hard for CBS to get the two actors to leave a very cold Los Angeles for a warm, beautiful in Hawaii. And I bet their co-stars are extremely jealous, as they should be.

Whoopi Goldberg tested positive for COVID-19
January 3rd, 2022 under The View. [ Comments: none ]

The ladies of The View had a sh!tty Christmas break, to put it mildly. The show starts off with them in boxes and Whoopi Goldberg nowhere to be seen. That is because she is home with COVID-19, and the other ladies are just home because of how quickly this variant is spreading.

When it comes to Goldberg, she just has minor symptoms because she boostered. She is not the only one to catch it during the break. Sarah Haines’ husband, Max, tested positive when they returned home from Miami to see her family.

Florida is where Ana Navarro’s dad was when he tested positive. But that was not the only awful thing to happen to her family in December. She lost her mother on December 14th. Thankfully, her father is negative and was able to spend New Year’s Day with his daughter.

Finally, Sunny Hostin tested positive for coronavirus right before Christmas. However, it was much worse for her because both her mother-in-law and her father-in-law passed away over the last two weeks.

I am so sad listening to that; I need a bottle of wine.

Hopefully, they will all be OK. My heart goes out to the women who lost their loved ones. Losing a parent is one of the worst pains you can ever go through.

Janet Jackson is getting a 2-night documentary event on Lifetime and A&E
January 3rd, 2022 under A&E, Lifetime, The Jacksons. [ Comments: none ]

Janet Jackson is one of the most well-known people in the world, but we don’t know much about the woman that has been in the spotlight since she was a little girl.

That is all going to change on January 28th when Lifetime and A&E air a two-night, four-hour documentary about Janet. As she says, “This is my story told by me. Not through someone else’s eyes.”

We will learn things about her we never knew, and she will clear up the rumors we have all wondered about, like did she have a secret baby and what happened during her infamous Super Bowl performance.

Since the doc is being produced by her and Randy Jackson, you know it is her truth. Because of that, I can’t wait to learn more about the women we know but don’t know.
