Halloween is coming early this year because Chucky, the television series, is debuting on SYFY and USA on October 12th. So mark your calendars because you don’t want to miss our favorite killer doll killing people on a weekly basis.
Especially since his Geppetto, Don Mancini. is the man behind the series. Not only is he involved with the show, so is Chucky’s Bride, Jennifer Tilly.
It is going to be a long three months, but it will be like Christmas in October when the show finally debuts.
On August 10th, Fox is giving us a sequel to the ’70s cult favorite show Fantasy Island. We know that Roselyn Sanchez is playing Mr. Roarke’s family member, and she is running the island now. We also know that Dave and Odette Annable will guest star on the show this season.
Today, we found out who three more of those guest stars are going to be. They are Melrose Place’s Daphne Zuniga, Josie Bissette, and Laura Leighton. The three friends travel there for one of their birthdays. At first, it seems like a happy trip. But then things start to unravel when they find faults in their friendship.
Will they leave as friends or enemies? We will just have to tune in to find out.
Everyone loves that Luke Skywalker followed the light and didn’t go dark like his father. However, if the actor had his way, it would have been a different story.
Yesterday when the beloved actor was on The Tonight Show, he told Jimmy Fallon he went to George Lucas with that idea. “I pitched that to George because I thought that’s the way things were going in Empire [Strikes Back]. I’ve got the gloved hand, and I was dressed all in black,” he said. “But actually, George said, ‘No, it’s a fairytale for children. Luke is virtuous. He’s the good guy.'”
Do you wish Hamill got his way?
Now back to Luke’s severed hand, the actor also revealed something you didn’t know about it. In the original opening to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the movie was going to start off with the appendage floating in the air holding a lightsaber. Then when it hit the atmosphere, the skin and bones were supposed to melt away, leaving just the lightsaber to float into nothingness. That means he would have opened and closed the movie. However, it did not happen.
While Hamill is very fluent in Star Wars, the same cannot be said about his knowledge of two of the other roles that he plays. Those roles are The Joker and Skeletor. Watch him fail at answering those questions.
His getting those answers wrong made me adore him even more. Seriously, besides Darth Vader, who doesn’t love him?
Debbie Gibson released a new music video today. She is proving to the world with One Step Closer that you can still be sexy as all f*ck even when you are 50.
She went from a teeny bopper to a seductrious, and this video confirms it.
It also confirms that the Electic Youth is still strong with her.
Gabriel Iglesias took to social media yesterday, on his 45th birthday, to tell his fans that he has to cancel his upcoming shows for the foreseeable future. The reason is, is that he tested positive for COVID-19.
“I’ve been vaccinated, and I give credit to that for getting me through this as quickly as it did,” the comedian said.
So what are the symptoms he says he has, “some body aches, some chills, clearly COVID did something to my eyebrows.” It didn’t take away his sense of humor. But it did take away two of his other senses. That means he can’t taste or smell the cake he got for his birthday, but he is happy he got the cake.
He plans to restart his standup tour after he gets three negative tests for coronavirus.
Get well soon, Fluffy. Your comedy needs to be seen by as many people as possible. If you have never seen him on the stage, watch his specials on Netflix and Tubi. They made me laugh out loud.
Let his diagnosis be a warning to all of us that we can’t let our guard down just yet. Just because you are vaccinated does not mean you won’t get it. It just means you won’t get as sick. If only we could convince the people who didn’t get the vaccine to get it. That would really help matters.
