Ryan Reynolds is giving away three months of cell phone service
January 29th, 2020 under Ryan Reynolds. [ Comments: none ]

We know that Ryan Reynolds is in the gin business and now he is geting into the cell phone business. The actor is so siked about his new venture, that he is giving away three free months of service.

On Sunday, some companies will spend over $5 million dollars to advertise in a game so expensive I can’t even mention its name lest we summon its army of lawyers.

As the new owner of Mint Mobile, that’s a HARD no. Mint offers premium wireless service for just $15 dollars a month, so we could literally give away over 300,000 months of free service and still save money.

And that’s exactly what we’re going to do.

Sign up for Mint Mobile after kickoff and before the final whistle, and get 3 months of Mint Mobile service free.

Visit: for details.

I am going to try it because the price is right. Free!

BTWF: Lin-Manuel Miranda and William Jackson Harper on Electric Company
January 29th, 2020 under Before They Were Famous, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Seth Meyers. [ Comments: none ]

Before Lin-Manuel Miranda was writing Rap Musicals for Broadway, he was doing that for Electric Company. How on beat were the two 29-year-old actors in 2010?

William Jackson Harper talked about this song yesterday on Late Night with Seth Meyers. I, for one, am happy that Miranda didn’t remember him for Hamilton. If he did remember his old castmate, then Harper might not have gone on to The Good Place. And he is so good on it!

Chicago Med celebrates 100 episodes with the best cake!
January 29th, 2020 under Dick Wolf. [ Comments: none ]

On March 18th, Chicago Med will air its 100th episode. However, they filmed and celebrated the milestone yesterday.

Since it is a medical drama, their cake was in the shape of a corpse. Creepy, but awesome! And no one had more fun with it than Nick Gehlfuss. No matter how much CPR he did it on it, the cake was still dead. He tried. After he called the time of death, it was time for them to become cannibals or should I say cakibals?

Kumail Nanjiani reveals how his buff bod has changed him
January 29th, 2020 under Conan O'Brien. [ Comments: none ]

A few months ago, Kumail Nanjiani showed off his bodacious bod, and the internet went crazy. So much so, he was featured on PornHub as a Muscular Man, and they gave a free subscription to their premium videos for ten years. Which he is enjoying.

Yesterday, when he finally showed up for his appearance on Conan, he talked about those new muscles. Not just the one arm! Anyways, does he feel stronger? Nanjiani admitted, “No. These muscles are decorative. They don’t do anything.”

Since they don’t do anything, does that mean he hasn’t changed because he has them? He says, “I am slightly less interesting because I do talk about working out a lot.” Then he added, “And I am slightly less funny.”

Something he did say that was funny, is that he thought about canceling on Conan O’Brien again. You see, back in July, the actor canceled on the talk show at the last minute, and they filled his spot with Conan’s assistant. Nanjiani thought it would be funny if he did it again. However, he did not do it.

The actor also apologized for canceling because he was stuck taping Silicon Valley. To show Conan how sorry he is, he promises never to do another episode of the show. Isn’t that nice of him not to do any more episodes for the show that has wrapped filming of its final season?

Michael Strahan says it was not his choice to leave Live
January 29th, 2020 under Michael Strahan. [ Comments: none ]

It has been almost four years since Michael Strahan announced that he was leaving Live with Kelly and Michael, and he has not really talked about his controversial exit until now.

The Good Morning American host sat down with New York Times Magazine and revealed how it all went down. He told them that, “I didn’t wake up and say, ‘I want a job at G.M.A.’ I was asked to do it by the people who run the network. It was really not a choice. It was a request. But it was treated as if I was the guy who walked in and said, ‘I’m leaving.’ Then he added, “That part was totally misconstrued, mishandled in every way. People who should have handled it better have all apologized, but a lot of the damage had already been done.”

After everything went down with Kelly Ripa being upset about his new job, he still tried to have weekly meetings with her. They did a few, but then she decided she did not want to do them anymore.

Does he have any animosity towards his former co-host? He said, “I don’t hate her. I do respect her for what she can do at her job. I cannot say enough about how good she is at her job.”

I wonder if she would say the same about him. Probably not. However, at the end of the day, it worked out for both of them. He has Strahan, Sara and Keke, and she has Ryan Seacrest.
