Top Gun has been exciting audiences for almost 40 years, and now those fans can recreate their favorite moment from the movie as though they were Maverick or Goose.
Hot Wheels is releasing a set dedicated to the film in honor of the milestone. According to Mattel Creation, “They can recreate the famous inverted flight combat scene. Locked in and ready to rock, this authentic display showcases Maverick and Goose expertly performing the “impossible” as they invert their F-14 Tomcat over an enemy “MiG-28” (behind-the-scenes movie trivia – there’s no such fighter jet, it was actually a repainted F-5 Tiger). The wings move on our F-14, authentically replicating the real jet’s swing-wing design.
