Yesterday, Jimmy Fallon went to the same restaurant as Brad Pitt. The actor wanted to say hi to the Tonight Show host, so he sent him a drink. Fallon did the same. Then Pitt sent him an appetizer and so on. This went on for several courses. Finally, the kitchen was out of food. Then the bit comes to a conclusion that makes me think this is the best bit the show has ever done. I can’t think of any other sketch that made me laugh as hard as this one on the late night talk show.
Sylvester Stallone was on Live with Kelly and Ryan this morning and he told Ryan Seacret what he did before he was an actor. Before he got his big break, my alma mater, the Unversity of Miami, broke up with him. Without any goals, his family wanted him to get into their business which is full of beauticians.
Even though he did not have the hands for it, he still went to beauty school like his family wanted to. He tried, but his fingers and attitude were not right for it.
Therefore, he dropped out and went into acting. After that, you know what happened.
If he had not failed out, could you imagine his paws working their magic in your hair? I can’t.
Earlier this summer, ABC announced that Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Bobby Bones will all be back on American Idol next year. However, there was one name missing from the list and of course, it is AI original Ryan Seacrest.
Today, after months of is he or isn’t he, we finally got our answer. The host is going to Hollywood! He had this to say about embarking on his 18th season with the show, “It’s the greatest gift to be able to play a part in discovering new talent with a franchise that has been such a relevant part of American culture for so many years.”
Are you happy he is back or were you looking forward to a change? I was hoping they would have gotten a new host. It needs to grow up now that the singing competition is no longer a minor.
When you think of the show Friends, you think of the main six leads. However, there is one character that really wanted to be part of the gang and, of course, it is Gunther. The manager at Central Perk who is obsessed with Rachel. Maybe even more than Ross.
Anyways to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary on Sunday, Today spoke to James Michael Tyler about his time on the show. Did you know that the actor is not a natural peroxide blonde? He dyed his hair for the show. When it was done, he went back to his natural color. Five years ago, he bleached his hair one last time for the 20th anniversary. I say last time because he says after that appearance he retired that role forever.
Even with natural hair color people were still able to recognize him. However, doing back to back films, one coming up, with a beard, he is finally able to go unnoticed.
Tyler was not cast as anyone when he joined the show in the first season. In fact, he started out as an extra. He was not upgraded until the second season. The rest is Hollywood history.
Last week, Cameron Mathison revealed that he has Kidney cancer and went in for surgery on September 12th to have it removed. The surgery went well and he only lost 20% of his kidney.
Today, the man, who is known as much for his torso as his face, showed off his scars from his successful surgery. He also wrote, “Half of my life I was focused on the aesthetics of my body and about half of my career I spent shirtless… now I proudly bear the scars that made me cancer free.#scarstoyourbeautiful #cancerfree #gratefulwrote” His scars are beautiful because he is a survivor, a cancer survivor.
His bravery makes me more comfortable with my own biopsy scars. I hope other people feel the same way after seeing this picture of the Soap star and Home & Family host.
Thank you, Cameron, for being so open about your cancer and I am happy you are cancer-free.
