Lifetime takes on Wendy Williams and the college admission scandal
July 23rd, 2019 under Lifetime, Wendy Williams. [ Comments: none ]

Lifetime is taking on a lot of real life stories that are so hot, we are not going to need our heaters this winter.

They helped to bring down R Kelly, so we will see more in Surviving R. Kelly: The Aftermath. Since that show did so well, we are getting Surviving Jeffrey Epstein. There are a lot of people who should be afraid of that docuseries like the orange man in the White House.

Wendy Williams’ life has been getting a lot of attention recently, so it makes that they are doing a biopic about her life. I wonder who they will get to play her. Who do you think should play the part?

That is not the only true life story they are working on. The college admission scandal is getting its own telemovie. The way Lori Loughlin’s career is going, she could play herself. She needs the work and who better to play her than her.

Finally, coming on October 19th is Patsy and Loretta that tells the story of Patsy Cline (Megan Hilty) and Loretta Lynn (Jessie Mueller). It tells the story of their friendship that ended with the death of Cline in a plane crash in 1963. Their time together might have been short, but it lasted a lifetime for Lynn.

Lance Bass was ‘Doing it and doing it well’ with women when he was in *NSYNC
July 23rd, 2019 under Andy Cohen, Lance Bass. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday Lance Bass was on Watch What Happens Live and he gave Andy Cohen an answer no one saw coming.

The Bravo host asked him if was a member of the mile-high club. The singer admitted that he was. Then Cohen followed it up by asking if it was before or after he dated his ex Reichen Lehmkuhl around 2006. To which Bass admitted it was well before because it was with a woman.

That’s right, he was having sex with women while he was *NYSNC. In fact, he says, “I was doing and doing it well [with women].” Then he added, “We were doing what we had to do to survive.” Sounds like he was doing a lot more than surviving. Don’t you think?

Proof Tom Hanks’ career has been leading to A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
July 23rd, 2019 under Jimmy Fallon, Tom Hanks. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday, Sony released the trailer for Tom Hanks as Mister Rogers in A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Part of starring in that movie is singing the theme song that every kid knows until this day

However, the Oscar winner has sung that song before in several of his movies. It was just in code, a code that Jimmy Fallon broke on The Tonight Show yesterday.

Therefore, his films like Philadelphia, Big and Toy Story were all leading to this. Who knew?

Keith L. Williams’ friends will have to sneak into his movie The Good Boys
July 23rd, 2019 under Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

Keith L. Williams is just 12 years old and yet he has had a pretty successful acting career. He has starred on the sitcoms Selfie and The Last Man on Earth. Then on August 16th, we will see him in his biggest role to date. He is starring in Seth Rogen’s Good Boys.

A movie that is not kid-friendly, even though the stars are kids themselves. How will his pre-teen’s friends see it? He told Jimmy Kimmel Live that they are going to have to sneak in to see it. Then when they are done, he will have to explain a lot of it to them like it was explained to him.

How did his parents feel about him doing the movie? At first, they were hesitant, but then they read the script. They laughed so hard, they let him do the film.

Like I said, he is becoming a star which means he is earning the big bucks. Does he see all of that dough? Nope, he only gets a $20 a week allowance. Sometimes, his mom even forgets to give it to him. Imagine when he finds out how much money he made for his work and how much he got. $1,040 normally goes a long way for someone of his age, but he is not your average kid.

Beyonce was photoshopped into the Lion King group photo
July 23rd, 2019 under Beyoncé, Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: none ]

Disney released a group photo of the cast of The Lion King and people wondered if Beyonce was photoshopped into it. Yesterday, when John Oliver was on The Late Show, Stephen Colbert asked him just that.

Oliver admitted, “She wasn’t there…I think almost everybody else was there.” He then revealed that there was a piece of tape on the floor where she was supposed to be.

Even though she was not there physically, her presence was still felt. In fact, Oliver said he was intimidated by her and you can see it on his face.

I wonder why she was not there? Did she think she was better than everyone else? Things that make you go hmmm…
