Does the Ugly Dolls trailer look pretty or ugly to you?
November 8th, 2018 under Kelly Clarkson. [ Comments: none ]

The first trailer is out for the star-studded animated movie Ugly Dolls and I am disappointed by it. You would think with a cast like Janelle Monáe, Nick Jonas, Pitbull, Wanda Sykes, Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and Emma Roberts, they would spend money on making the animation film look good, but I guess they spent it all on the cast instead.

It looks cheaper than the animated series based on movies that the kids you know watch on Netflix. Have you seen how bad those Barbie episodes look? Plus, the song is not as catchy as the ones in Trolls.

Yet, having said all of that, I am sure lots of kids will be begging their parents to take them to see it on May 10th. Then we will be forced to buy them the toys from it for their birthdays. It is an evil cycle that costs us money.

The CW asks it 3 freshman shows for more episodes
November 8th, 2018 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

For the first time in a long time, The CW has ordered additional episodes from all of its new shows. That means that All American (the worst new drama for me), Legacies and Charmed will be around longer than they expected. For All American and Legacies, they will only be around for 3 more episodes while Charmed will be around for 9 more bringing their totals to 16 and 22 respectively. I am surprised that the former two got more episodes because their ratings have been lackluster.

That and they still have five more shows to air. They are Roswell, In the Dark, The 100 along with the final seasons of Jane the Virgin and iZombie. That is a lot of time with just 12 hours of programming.

Did NBC tell I Fell Bad they feel bad about not ordering more episodes?
November 8th, 2018 under NBC, Superstore. [ Comments: none ]

The first scripted show to be told they are basically cancelled is I Feel Bad because NBC will not order any additional episodes past the original 13. The show from Amy Poehler had a weak pilot, but actually got stronger with each episode. Therefore, I am sad to see it go.

What replaces it? Let’s just NBC’s Thursdays is getting a big makeover. On January 3rd, The Rock’s The Titan Games gets a 2-hour debut. The following week, it will air at 8p, Brooklyn Nine-Nine will air at 9p and The Good Place (broadcast’s best show) moves to 9:30p for its two final episodes of the season. Then on January 24th, Will & Grace takes over that timeslot. What about Superstore? It will be back in March when The Titan Games ends its run.

Got it? I don’t, but that is what DVRs are for.

Sarah Hyland shows off her baby bump!
November 8th, 2018 under Modern Family, Sarah Hyland. [ Comments: none ]

Sarah Hyland is modeling her growing belly, but it is not hers per se. It is actually her character’s baby bump because Haley is pregnant on Modern Family. Since the actress is not pregnant in real life, she has to wear a fake one.

While it might not look real without clothes on, with them on you would think she was really with child.

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha takes another football to the nose!
November 8th, 2018 under The Brady Bunch. [ Comments: none ]

One of the most famous episodes of The Brady Bunch is when Marsha’s nose was accidentally hit by a football thrown by Peter. Her nose swelled up and all everyone cared about was Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.

Now 45 years later, Christopher Knight and Maureen McCormick recreated that moment at their old house. Looks like that house will not be the only getting some renovation done to it.

I love that after a nearly 50-year friendship they can still play like they did when they were kids.
