Before Ron Livingston starred in Office Space, he was invading Dolly Parton’s personal space in Straight Talk. How naughty and cute was the 24-year-old making his debut in that 1992 film?
To hear him talk about his first acting role, listen to him straight talk about it on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen yesterday.
On April 23rd, there were several reports that Clayne Crawford’s actions on the set of Lethal Weapon were making people feel uncomfortable. The next day, the actor confirmed that he had some problems on the set and was sorry about how he handled the situations.
I guess his apology was good enough for the producers because The Hollywood Reporter is saying that he was fired from the Fox show that has not yet been picked up for a third season. The trade also says that they are looking to recast the role. They have offered it to a few actors who have all turned down the offer.
I say cast either Ashton Kutcher or Mark-Paul Gosselaar in the part because both actors have successfully come on to show as a replacement and gave it a few more seasons. Or give the role to Chace Crawford because, well, their names are similar? Or better yet, just cancel it? Give us some revivals instead of a small screen version of a big screen movie.
We will probably find out more on Monday when Fox announces it plans for next season. Do you want to see the police show back for another season or is it time to let it go?
The moral of this story actors, is count to 10 before you lose it on the set or you will lose your job.
Eric Stonestreet is on hiatus from Modern Family and he was photographed working at Healzer’s OK Tire Store in Ness City, Kansas. Does that mean he is looking for some extra cash to get him through the months the show is not in production? Nope, he is just promoting his cousin’s business. Hopefully, it works and he gets a few more people in the store!
Even though Stella survived cancer, her show Life Sentence will not live to see a second season. Lucy Hale broke the news on Twitter today, “I was emotionally attached to this story and to everyone involved so I am a little shell shocked right now, but I feel fortunate that we got to tell a really beautiful story.”
It really is a beautiful story that, like her, I wish could have continued. Sadly though, people were not watching this heartwarming family drama. That is what made this show so wonderful, it was about a family who truly loved each other during the good times and the bad ones. I guess people would rather watch the murder of the week, than a well-written heartfelt drama. Their loss and ours too.
At least we have a few more episodes, Fridays at 9p, to enjoy before it goes to TV heaven
UPDATE: The CW has also cancelled the military drama Valor after one short season.
We know a lot about Kelly Clarkson, but did you know she likes to make quilts. As a parting gift to her Voice coaches, she made them each one.
The American Idol described her inspiration for each as, “@blakeshelton was inspired by denim & blues, @adamlevine is rock & roll attire & @aliciakeys is purples & family 😊 love y’all!” But she also warned, “Yaaaassss! #quiltingismyjam ….but don’t look 2 closely because it sort of looks like a high school home economics project 🤣#madewithlovenotperfection.” To me, they are perfect because they are made from the heart!
What did Blake Shelton think of his? He wrote, “NEVER has a voice coach hand made me a gift!!! Thank you Kelly Clarkson!!!” Then he added, “I didn’t want Adam in my picture… What an absolute dickhead.” I love his bromance with Adam Levine as much as I love Clarkson’s quilts. The only negative thing about them, is we have no need for them in Los Angeles! And yet I still want one.
You know Kelly, if this singing thing does not work out, you totally be a quilt maker. I bet you Bed, Bath and Beyond, HSN or QVC would totally invest in Clarkson’s Piece by Piece.
