Who is a bigger freak in bed: Andy Cohen or Anderson Cooper?
December 18th, 2017 under Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen. [ Comments: none ]

Anderson Cooper’s New Year’s Eve date was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and we got to learn more about the BFFs. Things like they really do not know each other at all. Because they got every question wrong until the last one. That questions is, “Who has the higher freak number in bed?” Without hesitation, they both agreed it is the CNN anchor. With that, I am now wondering what he does to earn that number. Hopefully giggling is involved.

Nick Jonas and Jack Black’s Jumanji theme song gets a music video
December 18th, 2017 under Jack Black, Jonas Brothers, The Rock. [ Comments: none ]

For weeks, we have been hearing how Nick Jonas and Jack Black wrote a theme song for their movie Jumanji also starring The Rock, Karen Gillan and Kevin Hart. Today, they released the music video for it and well, I do not know what to say about it. So I will just go with what DJ posted on Instagram:

When @jackblack and @nickjonas told us that they wrote the theme song for #JUMANJI and even shot a music video… I thought ‘this is gonna be some Grammy-type sh!t’. Turns out it was the other kind of sh!t 💩. But honestly, as producer of the movie…. I kinda liked it. I mean I’m not gonna pull our @gunsnroses Welcome to the Jungle theme song, but this song ain’t complete dog sh!t either.”

OK, maybe I will go with what Gillan and Kart said because that is some elephant-size 💩 that is better serving as a theme song for Pitfall, the game that Black did a commercial for in the ’80s. And yet, like DJ, I kind of liked it too.

When it comes to how Jonas feels about this tune, he Tweeted, “I would certainly put this in some of my finest songwriting work. #proud #jumanji #iwritesongsitswhatido.” Considering how bad the Jonas Brothers songs are, he might be spot on. But is that really saying anything?

What did you think of Jumanji: Jumanji? Do you think they should stick with Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle? Are you going to see the movie when it comes out on Wednesday?

No reason to be blue cause here’s Prince William’s Christmas family photo!
December 18th, 2017 under British Royals. [ Comments: none ]

Kensington Palace released the family photo that Prince William and Kate Middleton are using for their Christmas card, and the awwwwwdorable Prince George and Princess Charlotte are getting so big. You can tell that little tyke is your typical 4-year-old boy who cannot stand still. While his 2-year-old sister is a ham for the camera. Something I am sure her mother, who is an honorary member of the Royal Photographic Society, has instilled in her daughter. There is nothing wrong with that because who is not loving that precious smile.

As you can guess the Duchess did not take this photo, instead it was taken by Getty’s Royal Photographer Chris Jackson. This is his reaction to them using the photo he took, “Delighted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen to use this family portrait I shot as their Christmas Card this year – Merry Christmas! 🎄” Who can blame him because he really has a great eye for capturing the British Royal family.

A mini-ER reunion
December 18th, 2017 under John Stamos. [ Comments: none ]

Remember when all of the original ER cast members were gone and County General Hospital was filled with a bunch of new doctors like John Stamos, Goran Visnjic, Linda Cardellini, Scott Grimes and Maura Tierney? Well yesterday, the latter had a reunion at Stamos’ house and posed in front of the door he stole from the set when the show was cancelled.

Seeing them all together, makes my wonder why NBC has not rebooted this medical drama. It was still doing well in its final seasons. I know they have Chicago Med, but there is nothing that says you can’t have two hospital shows in the same city? Heck, CBS has a lot of procedurals all based the same cities and no one has a problem with Scorpion, McGuyver and NCIS: LA all taking place in Los Angeles?

The Greatest Showman came alive with a live commercial
December 18th, 2017 under Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron, Zendaya. [ Comments: none ]

Back during the Golden Age of television, commercials were live all the time, now that is never the case. That is until yesterday when during A Christmas Story: Live, Fox aired the first-ever live television commercial for a feature film. That film is the musical The Greatest Showman, and the show’s stars, Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya, sang and danced along with a dozen performers to the movie’s tune Come Alive. Was it worth it? Hell-freaking-yeah! I am sure even more people are going to run out and see it this Wednesday when the film goes from a small scene live ad to an enjoyable feature on the big screen.
