Spider-Man might just be one superhero, but he is bigger than all of The Avengers. That is because he spun his web around audiences in 4487 movie theaters this weekend and beat out The Avengers: Endgame for the highest-earning domestic opening weekend in United States cinematic history.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the movie sold $360 million worth of tickets, beating out 2019’s Endgame by $2.9 million.
That is not the only record Spidey broke this weekend. On Friday, it made $169,300,000. That is the largest amount grossed on an opening day and on a single day. And that is coming off of the record-breaking $72 million it made in previews on Thursday.
How many more records will Brand New Day make? We will just have to wait to find out.
And hopefully, we will not have to wait too long to find out that Tom Holland and Zendaya will be working together in another Spider-Man feature.
Oh, The Hollands had the two top movies in North America this weekend- The Odyssey made $51 million. They are Hollywood’s top couple!
I don’t know about you, but I don’t remember what Homer is about, and the trailers for The Odyssey are not helping.
Therefore, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon asked Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, and Lupita Nyong’o to share the plot with us. Not in spoken word, but in song.

Zendaya is like a Barbie doll, and fashion designers can’t wait to dress her up for events. However, in the capital of fashion, aka Paris, she wore just a vintage Spider-Man t-shirt to the premiere for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. And it only costs $35.
Even though it is probably the cheapest thing she has ever worn to any event, I think it is the best she has ever looked.
Tom Holland and his rumored wife, Zendaya, are touring the world to promote their movie, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Their latest stop landed them in Rome. And when in Rome…you get dressed up.
The actress wore an ankle-length dress that made it seem as though her reported husband spins webs not only in the Superhero franchise but also in real life.
Granted, he didn’t need to trap her in his web because he already has her heart. However, she does look stunning in that gown. But then again, she always looks gorgeous.
