Scream if you psyched for a Psych movie!
May 8th, 2017 under Psych. [ Comments: none ]

It has been 3 years since USA forced us to say goodbye to Psych, but our favorite crime-solving fake psychic is coming for a telemovie this December.

That’s right Shawn (James Roday), Gus (Dulé Hill), Lassiter (Timothy Omundson), Juliet (Maggie Lawson), Henry (Corbin Bernsen) Chief Vick (Kirsten Nelson) and several other fan favorites who tasted the pineapple are getting together for one more case. According to the press release the movie of the week takes place 3 years after the season finale and they are reuniting during the holidays after a mystery assailant targets one of their own. Now they will work together in their own special way to find out who it is before it is too late.

I don’t know about you, but I really hope this is a step closer to bringing the show back full time. I used to watch USA all the time, but now I can only watch Suits on their network. I miss when they used to do shows like Psych, Monk and Royal Pains. They need to do more shows with humor and less that are basically FX knockoffs. Who is with me and wants their Psych back on a weekly basis?

Before Joseph Gordon-Levitt was a stranger on our Third Rock from the Sun, there was someone who wanted to be a Stranger on My Land. How awwwwdorable was the 6 year old making his acting debut in that 1988 telemovie.

Party of Five still makes Scott Wolf cry
May 8th, 2017 under Scott Wolf. [ Comments: none ]

Even though it has been 17 years since Party of Five ended, watching the show still makes one of the actors cry. Scott Wolf discovered his drama on Netflix and decided to binge it. What happened after when he went down that “rabbit hole”? He says that he bawled his face off and his puffy red eyes prove that he did. Proving that the show is just as emotional for the actors as it is to us.

I actually also discovered the series on the streaming service this weekend and debated whether or not to Netflix and Chill with it. After hearing him say it made him weep uncontrollably, I will skip it until I need a good cry.

When it comes to Bailey, how much more handsome does he look after a good wail? And can someone tell me how has he not aged a day since the show debuted almost 23 years ago?

Finally, when are we going to get a Party of Five reunion or reboot? We need it!

No tomorrows for No Tomorrow or Frequency
May 8th, 2017 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Do you remember that The CW started the season with 2 new shows called No Tomorrow and Frequency? You forgot about them? Don’t worry, so has The CW because Entertainment Weekly says the network officially cancelled them. Which should come as no shock because neither show got additional episode orders due to low ratings.

Proving The CW should stick with Comic Book shows because those are the ones that seem to be the ones that do well for them. While Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex Girlfriend get them award nominations but not ratings. Granted this is not me saying that I want them to pick up Dynasty because I sure as hell don’t want them to. That sounds painfully awful.

Is Colin Farrell’s manscaping story worth $10,000? YES!
May 8th, 2017 under Colin Farrell, Ellen DeGeneres. [ Comments: none ]

Colin Farrell is on Ellen today and Ellen DeGeneres offered to give $10,000 to his charity of choice if he told a never before heard story that is worth that amount of money.

He agreed because he would do anything for his son’s school, CHIME Institute, that has done so much for his child. Since the actor isn’t shy, he has no problem sharing a story about the first movie he did in the US back at the turn of the century.

Back when he was filming Tigerland, he had to do his first sex scene and he was very nervous. He asked the film’s director, Joel Schumacher, “‘Is it a bit?’ Because, like most men, I had what you could refer to as ‘retro bush’…and Joel, the director, went, ‘Oh.'”

Thus, the actor ran into the hair and makeup department and asked to borrow their beard shaver. He went to trailer and shaved some off the right and then the left. He looked and realized he took too much off of the left, so when back to the right side. He kept doing this until he was left with a pinky sized landing strip. Which is why we didn’t see him do full frontal in his American debut. Damn that beard trimmer!

And with that story, CHIME Institute is $10,000 richer. Which was well deserved because not too many actors would share a story like that with anyone else, let alone on national TV. Heck, I would like to see Ellen match the $10,000 because that tale is worth so much more than that! Don’t you agree?
