Scarlett Johansson is one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood these days and everyone wants to cast her in their project. That is now, but back when she was a child actress that was not the case.
Yesterday, she was on The Howard Stern Show, and he asked her if it is true if she lost out on a role in Jumanji to Kirsten Dunst. The actress told him that she did, and when the movie came out she went to see the film because she was not bitter back then.
Then she also admitted to the Shock Jock that she auditioned for The Parent Trap, and as we know lost out on that role to Lindsay Lohan. Did she see that movie? Nope, as she said she was started to get bitter by that point.
She was even turned down for a movie more recently, a role that lead to another actress winning an Oscar. That feature was Les Miserable and the actress was Anne Hathaway.
All of this proves that even A-List actresses don’t always get the roles they want.
Back in ’90s, everything was going well for Isaac Lidsky because he was starring as Weasel on Saved By The Bell: The New Class. Then, something started to happen. He learned he was losing his sight because of a rare genetic disorder called Retinitis Pigmentosa.
He didn’t let that stop him. He graduated from Harvard at 19, yes 19. Went on to law school and eventually found himself working as a clerk for Supreme Court Justice’s Sandra Day O’Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Think that would be enough? He also became a co-founder of an Internet Start Up which sold for $230 million, an Entrepreneur and speaker.
Besides all of that him his wife have four children including a set of triplets known as The Tripskys.
The 37 year old’s latest accomplishment is author to his inspiring book Eyes Wide Open that is out now and he promoted it on The Doctors.
With all of that, think what are you doing with your life and how you can use your sense of sight to make the world a better place. He is doing with 4 senses, we can also do it with 5.
Actors are trained not to reveal any spoilers when they do talk shows, but every now again the hosts get the better of the star.
Kieron Richardson was on This Morning today to talk about the murder mystery on Hollyoaks, and Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were able to break him. As ITV hosts were running down the list of possible suspects, Richardson was trying his hardest not to reveal anything. Then he made the mistake of talking about the actress who was killed on the show. He said, “All I am going to say is Ashley Slanina-Davies, who plays Amy Barnes, is an absolutely fantastic episode, even in the final scene when I was with my…” His hands were motioned as though he was strangling her, and then he put them over his eyes because he just revealed he is the person that killed Amy Barnes.
At that point he knew there was no going back as much as he wanted to because it was live television. The actor, who is expecting twins, is afraid he will be out of work because of the flub. But I doubt they will fire him over the reveal because now people are going to want to see if he really did it. I live in The States, where we don’t have Hollyoaks, and I want to see if he really did it. It is getting people to talk about the show and that is what interviews are supposed to be about. Right?
Luke Perry did an impromptu Q&A on Twitter and someone asked if he ever dated Jennie Garth. He responded by saying, “No, she’s my friend.” Which probably makes them like the only actor and actress who didn’t date on Beverly Hills, 90210. I mean, didn’t they all date each other at some point during the show? It was so hard to follow.
When it comes to, if Dylan would choose Brenda or Kelly, he said, “Both I can’t pick.” One thing he knows for sure, he won’t Dancing with the Stars like his former castmates Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth and Ian Zeiring. Which is a bummer because he would probably be really smooth on the dance floor.
On Sunday, Abby Lee Miller took to Instagram to announce that she was quitting Dance Moms (again) and it looks like they have already found her replacement. According to Entertainment Tonight, Dancing with the Stars’ Cheryl Burke will take over as the dance teacher for the four additional episodes that Lifetime ordered for this season.
Is this a good idea? Hell to the no. The show already feels more scripted than reality, so having someone who will do any and every reality show is going to make it feel more fake that it already feels. It would be better to let the show die than try to save it because this solution is going to make the dying show even worse than it already it.
I don’t like Abby Lee Miller, but at least she did not start out as a television star. They would be better off going with a no name than a name because then the show is going to be all about the name than the moms and their daughters. That is who it should really be about and not someone who has reality TV experience.
I mean, if they were going to go with a name, I wish they would’ve gone with Debbie Allen who has already be on the show a few times. Even though she is a name, she is also a well know choreographer who has been working as a dance teacher for a long time. We only know of Burke as a choreographer on DWTS and not as a dance teacher. I think that is the most important credential for Miller’s replacement.
What do you think of Cheryl Burke taking over for Abby Lee Miller?
