CBS’s Zoo wants you to fear your Schnauzer!
May 20th, 2015 under CBS, James Wolk. [ Comments: none ]

On June 30th, James Patterson’s words from his critically acclaimed novel, Zoo, are going to come to life in a 13 episode event that should not be missed. On Monday, I attended the CBS Studios Summer Press Day and Patterson, the producers and the cast talked about the series that takes a look at what happens if the animals take back what is rightfully there’s.
When the producers were asked if animals will be vilified on the show, Scott Rosenberg answered what he wants the viewers to take away from it. He said, “Listen, we all love animals and nobody wants to create an environment that are anti-animal.” Then he added, “That said, in July, when mom, dad, Buddy and sis are sitting on the couch and they just finished watching episode five of Zoo and the dog is sitting over there, Skippy the Spaniel, we really want a place where, ‘So ma, it’s your turn to walk Skippy’; ‘I ain’t walking Skippy, you walk Skippy’. We really want, I keep saying this, we want the whole world to fear their Schnauzer, then we’ve done our job right.”
As someone who is already afraid of her cat, I am not sure how to handle what he said. Luckily, I spoke to Zoo’s star James Wolk, who has a dog, after the panel and I asked him if he is afraid of his four-legged friend since he started working on the show. He told me, “No! She’s too sweet. She’s such a wimp.” Then he added that 9 year old Flea (named after the bassist from Red Hot Chili Peppers), “Afraid of the dog, I can’t even tell the dog not to sleep in bed with me because she’s such a softie.”
Wolk also wanted to make it clear how the animals will most likely be perceived after the show debuts. He said, “We don’t vilify the animals. We really don’t. You’ll see when the show happens, there’s reason to be frightened of animals in the show, but they are not vilified. I think audiences, actually in part, will hope for their success.” Then he explained, “How we treat animals, we put them behind bars. It is a reminder that we need to treat the animal kingdom in our environment with respect. I think in that way the show is going to surprise people. It’s just not going to be animal attack of the week.”
So be prepared to be scared, surprised and excited for what happens next on Zoo starting June 30th on CBS.

Zac Efron trimmed Ellen DeGeneres’ overgrown bush!
May 20th, 2015 under Ellen DeGeneres, Zac Efron. [ Comments: none ]

Ellen DeGeneres bush has been getting wet a lot recently, and because of that it has been growing like crazy. She called her person to take care of it, but he was busy. He sent in a replacement who is very familiar with bushes and let him work his magic. That person is Zac Efron and he is a wizard with the scissors.
When he was done, someone asked him how Ellen’s bush smelled and he said like roses! Portia De Rossi is a lucky woman.

Joe Jonas has a naughty side!
May 20th, 2015 under Disney Kids, Jonas Brothers. [ Comments: none ]

Joe Jonas visited The Voice yesterday to promote his new NBC show I Can Do That that premieres this Tuesday at 10p. When he was done doing that, he had some fun with an Adam Levine poster. The Proavctiv print ad has the Maroon 5 singer pointing at his face, and his finger looks like a pen!s. Especially, when you pose next to it and it is crotch level. Something I would not have guessed until the middle Jonas Brother showed us that is the case.
I know he is not the Disney boy we got to know way back when, but it still surprises me when he does something naughty. I like it, believe I prefer it. Don’t you?

Has James Corden hit hard times?
May 20th, 2015 under Hard times, James Corden. [ Comments: none ]

James Corden has been hosting The Late Late Show for just over a month now and yesterday he took a job at Canter’s Deli near where he tapes the CBS late night show. So is he afraid of losing his night job and that is why he is daylighting? He did tell the press Monday at the CBS Studios’ Summer Press Day, “It’s still very much in the back of my mind that we’ll be cancelled at any point.” Thankfully, that is not why he was working as a waiter. He did it for a bit that was too die for, so sit back, eat your Corned Beef Sandwich and enjoy this because it’s like butter. It will leave you verklempt. Oy!

Who knew Conan O’Brien was so manly in the bedroom?
May 20th, 2015 under Conan O'Brien. [ Comments: none ]

Martial Artist and Stuntman Steven Ho was on Conan O’Brien’s show yesterday and he had a few more defense lessons for the TBS late night host. One of those lessons took place in the bedroom with a hot girl and Conan had no problem with that. In fact, when the henchman came after him, he handled it like the man he is. Which I didn’t know that he was until this scenario, but it is good to know. Although, the hot girl took out the last guy, so not sure how manly that part was. But then again, he redeemed himself when he carried her away like she was his bride on their wedding day. So equals out, no?
While that was just one hilarious clip from yesterday’s class, you can also see Conan get a purple nurple, try to kiss his teacher and get put in a car trunk. Not bad a night for the late night show. Oh wait, it was, but it was great for us!
I think that Steven Ho needs to be on Conan more often. He’s my favorite guest on the show. But then again it’s because I am a Sadist and he always hurts Conan. Is that wrong?
