Julie Bowen asks her TV son to punch Tim Allen!
November 15th, 2012 under Jay Leno, Modern Family, Tim Allen. [ Comments: none ]

Modern Family’s Nolan Gould was a guest on The Tonight Show and Julie Bowen had a message for the other guest on the NBC late night show. She wanted her TV son to punch Tim Allen because he once said, “Julie Bowen is where young soldiers go to learn a potty mouth.” The Last Man Standing didn’t even deny what he said, in fact he added that if you have been around Leah Remini and her together “Teamsters run.” And I think Allen will be running for his life at the ABC Christmas party since both women also have shows on the same network as him, and I am sure they will confront him at it. I wonder what ABC will be airing in the 8p slot on Fridays, once the two of them are done doing whatever they are going to do to him.
BTW Gould didn’t punch Tim “Tool Time” Taylor, but instead he agreed that his TV mom does have a mouth her. And I don’t see what is so bad about that.

Guys with Kids and Elementary get more while Vegas gets less!
November 15th, 2012 under CBS, NBC. [ Comments: 1 ]

NBC has asked for 4 more episodes from Guys with Kids bringing the freshman sitcom’s order to 17. Personally I think NBC is making a mistake by not giving the show the back 9 because it has really found its groove and it makes me laugh every week. Unlike a lot of their other comedies.
Over at CBS the network wants two more episodes from Elementary and takes back one from Vegas according to Deadline. Which means now Sherlock will get 24 episodes while Dennis Quaid’s new show is only getting 21. So I guess we can predict which CBS show will be back next season and which won’t.

American Horror Story scares up a third season
November 15th, 2012 under American Horror Story. [ Comments: 1 ]

We have reached the halfway mark for American Horror Story’s season 2 and FX has some bloody good news and some bloody bad news for us about the miniseries’ future. The good news is the miniseries will be back with 13 episodes as a whole new incarnation next year with Jessica Lange, but the bad news is that it won’t be back until the fall. So we have to wait almost a whole year to find out what sick and twisted concept they have come up with to f*ck with our sleep again. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait that long. At least we have until January 23rd to enjoy American Horror Story: Asylum.
So if you could come up with the theme for the next installment of AHS, what would it be? I kind of like the idea of a camp where the parents send their kids away for the summer and never get them back or if they do they are not the same…

Kid Rock wants to punch Simon Cowell
November 15th, 2012 under American Idol 9+, Simon Cowell. [ Comments: none ]

Kid Rock was on Howard Stern‘s radio show yesterday and he said he wants to punch Simon Cowell in the face. Pamela Anderson’s ex said he is sick of The X Factor judge acting like he is the best A&R guy in the world, so he wants to physically show him he feels about it. So far the two have never met, and I kind of hope they do soon. Is it wrong I want to see if Rock will actually make his words a reality? I doubt he would, but you never know. So Simon let’s find out if he is serious and have him on your Fox singing competition before the season ends. It would greatly improve the ratings because people would tune in to see what/if anything he would do to you when he meets you in person. My gut says he will like you so much that you will go out for a drink afterwards and become fast friends, but then again I could be wrong.

The Life of Pi star has a beautiful way of describing movie magic!
November 15th, 2012 under Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

First time actor Suraj Sharma was on Jimmy Kimmel Live and he told the ABC late night host how he got the role he had intention of auditioning for. His brother has been in two movies and he got a call to audition for the Ang Lee film. Since he was too nervous to go by himself, he asked his brother to join and if he did he would get a Subway sandwich. So Suraj went and was sitting around waiting when his brother’s casting agent said why don’t you try out. Well he did and he got the role, but no Subway sandwich.
Now even though the 19 year old college student is new to acting, he has a beautiful way of describing the art of making movies. He said, “The thing I like best about movies is you are telling stories. You’re dreaming all of these dreams. And it is not just you, it’s like the entire crew and everybody comes with their own little skills, their own little dreams and they form this big one. Then you just send it our into the world and maybe if you get lucky it will touch someone’s heart.” That sentiment touched my heart so much, that now I want to see a movie that I had no intention of going to see.
