Last week Kellie Pickler shaved her head along with her best friend Summer, who started chemo two days afterwards for breast cancer. The former-American Idol contestant shared her story with the world, but she had not done a sit down interview with anyone up until now. Pickler told her story to Ellen DeGeneres and you can hear it all this Monday.
What Kellie did was so beautiful that I cried listening to her tell Ellen what she did and why she did it in this preview clip. I don’t know that many people that would do what she did and I respect the crap out of her for doing it.
I pray that her friend gets through the chemo, cancer-free and with as little side effects as possible.
Earlier this week TMZ posted a story about Dave Matthews giving a fan a drawing along with his autograph. Well yesterday the singer was on Jimmy Kimmel Live and the ABC late night host asked him about that. Kimmel then told Matthews that the person he drew that picture for sold it on eBay for $500. Kimmel then went on to show him that other people did the same thing, and that DMB’s lead man should stop giving it away for free. So Matthews thought he was right and said he was convinced not to do it again. Instead he will sell his pictures for charity.
I hope he changes his mind because if I ever got an autograph like that from him (or anyone), I would hang it up on my wall and not sell it on eBay for all the money in the world. I love collecting autographs and maybe one day I will get one from either Dave Matthews or even Jimmy Kimmel to add to my collection.
Supernatural has over 10 million likes on Facebook, so to celebrate the honor Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles recorded a special message to thank their loyal fans. Well DJ Qualls came in and ruined that sweet sentiment and things got so bad that Sam had no alternative but to punch Dean. Being the big man that he is as soon as he realized what he did the new father ran like a demon was chasing him!
Of course there is no ill will between the Winchester boys, but it is a lot of fun to watch the TV brothers act like real ones. And we can see them act like fake ones when Supernatural comes back to The CW with a whole new season October 3rd.
3Penny Chorus and Orchestra has done their version of Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe and I hope that is the final version of her hit because no one can top this take of it. I mean seriously how do you do better than an orchestra and chorus? You just can’t.
I thought Glee would be the final nail in that song’s coffin, but I think 3Penny has officially nailed that coffin shut.
So now that I have declared the end for Call Me Maybe, can we make it official because I am so sick of that song.
James Van Der Beek was on Conan yesterday and it was the first time he has been interviewed by Conan O’Brien for the first time in 14 years! He explained that it was because his douchieness peeked while he was on Conan’s show and he has been embarrassed ever since.
But that wasn’t the highlight of the TBS interview, it was when Dawson, Conan and Andy Richter started talking about their butts. The conversation got so hot that they actually set off the fire alarm and they had to cut their chat short. Sadly with all of that butt talk, not one time did any of them get up and shake their booty for us ladies who wanted to see just how fiery their a$$es are. According to the fire detectors they are smoky hot!
BTW James Van Der Beek definitely got a lot better looking with age!
