Former "American Idol" contestant and current "Dreamgirls" star Jennifer Hudson is hoping to be a role model for real-sized women. Hudson told Newsweek that she’s a size 12, while the entertainment business loves the size 2 woman. She lost weight since making "Dreamgirls," but while the movie people tell her to keep her curves, the music people tell her, "You look great. Keep losing." "Why should I feel like the minority when the majority of America is a size 12?" Hudson asked. Hudson said a lot of singers don’t sound the same when they lose weight, and she has what she called "a little singer’s pouch" and that’s where her voice comes from. "Somebody has to represent the big girls," Hudson said. "Why not me?"

Masi Oka’s bid for world domination continues… Heroes breakout time-traveller will play himself in an episode of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Per my spies, Masi — who shoots his scenes tomorrow — will pull a Lauren Graham and host Studio’s show-within-a show.
Ausiello Report
You all know I have a crush on Masi, so you know I am going to watch! Hopefully it will give Studio 60 some more viewers!

What show got the post-Super Bowl time slot? |

CBS is giving the plush post-Super Bowl spot to sophomore drama Criminal Minds. The Mandy Patinkin drama will air immediately following Super Bowl XLI on Sunday, February 4. “This is an outstanding opportunity to expose a series that is young in its life cycle and on the rise to an enormous universe of potential new viewers," says CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler. CBS’ strategy comes as the show this fall began to surpass Lost in total viewers when the shows went head-to-head Wednesdays at 9.
Broadcasting & Cable
I think it is criminal they chose that show. I know it beats LOST, but I do not think it is the best fit. I would’ve picked Jericho, but hey that is just me.

TOOTIE has a bun in the oven. Friends of former "Facts of Life" star Kim Fields say the actress is three months pregnant with her first child. There is no word on who the father of the baby is. For the past few years, Fields has given up acting in favor of directing and moved to New York from Los Angeles. A rep for Fields didn’t return calls.

I was wondering what happened to her, now I know.

A spray on condom? |

Sick of fumbling with those old-fashioned prophylactics? Well have no fear, the spray-on condom is here! Jan Vinzenz Krause from the Institute for Condom Consultancy and his team are developing the ultimate in comfortable protection for men, Reuters reports. No more strewn condom wrappers or pesky imprints in your wallet … the condom of the future will be spray-as-you-go. Krause’s invention consists of a can-type device that sprays latex from all sides. "We call it the ‘360 degree procedure’ — once round and from top to bottom. It’s a bit like a car wash." Krause says the plan is to have the product work in about 5 seconds, making it especially convenient for those heat-of-the-moment situations where time is of the essence. He says the product will be extra-effective since it will be custom fit and won’t slip. However, before the new condom can be sold in shops, the company has to ensure that the latex gets evenly spread when it’s sprayed. Mr Krause hopes the hi-tech condom, which will be available in different strengths and colors, will on the market by 2008. Krause said he had hit upon the idea when considering the difficulties some people faced using condoms, and drew inspiration from spray-on plasters now used in medicine.

Can you imagine spraying a condom on someone? I don’t know about you, but the idea kind of freaks me out.
