Yesterday the hunky Blake Shelton was on The Tonight Show and he told Jay Leno that by being on the late night show it has fantasy fulfilled for his mother. And as the interview went on he was talking about his Voice co-mentors and he told him how Christina Aguilera has given him a new fantasy. He said that after the show they all went to a party and Xtina took some pictures with Miranda Lambert that will keep him busy at night when his wife of just a month is away. Sadly the chin stopped him before he got himself in trouble, but I wish he would’ve gone on.
Actually there were a lot of cute little moments during that interview, you should give yourself time to watch it. Oh how cool was it to see the two Blakes (Blake Lively and him) together like that?
BTW who else has a major crush on the country singer, who really really really likes to drink, since we got to know him on The Voice!!!
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert finally tied the knot yesterday after dating for 5 years! The bride wore her mother’s dress as she walked down the aisle to marry “her best friend” as she put it according to Us Weekly.
Hopefully this country marriage will last, as long The Voice coach doesn’t bring her home any Dead Flowers!
Blake Shelton with a “T” and not a “D” Tweeted the above photo and said, “Ah yes, the kind of respect I demand…” At least the top selling Country artist and coach from The Voice has a good sense of humor about it because if it were me I would be letting my voice be heard that they spelled my name wrong. How hard is it to spell his name?
Seriously who else besides me is totally crushing on Blake ever since they discovered him on the NBC singing competition.

So last Friday, I went to the NBC Summer Press Day and I got a sneak peek of the most anticipated show of the year…The Voice. And tonight at 11:35p before The Tonight Show, you will get to see that same preview I did of the much talked about show that premieres on Tuesday at 9p. You will get a better understanding of how this show is different than the other singing competitions and it is not because they landed four of the biggest names in music today as judges. I am sure you all heard of Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton and tonight you will hear them perform Crazy together. The perfect song to describe how this show is going to be…Cra-and-zy good!!!
The show isn’t only about the A-List musicians, it is about The Voice of the contestants and about time it was. They are not going to be picked by their looks or how well they move, but by how they sing. And once the judges like their voice they are going to mentor them, so that are prepared for the music world. You know unlike other shows when they are thrown into the pack of industry wolves never to be heard from again.
Oh and yes if Mark Burnett has his way, we will be hearing the four judges sing together again on one of the live shows!
Seriously after watching the preview of The Voice, all I could think of was Cee Lo’s chart topping song on how I feel towards those other singing shows…you know Forget You?
