October 13th, 2026 under Fox

Tonight at 9p on Fox, Dr. Larsen (Molly Parker) and Dr. Grant (Blair Underwood) are assigned the same patient on Doc. This is the first time they have worked together since he joined the hospital as the Chief of Surgery.

A cancer patient with an inoperable tumor is brought in, and her ex-wife wants Dr. Larsen to take the case. She wants Amy because the doctor treated her twice before. Once before the crash and once after. Amy lied to her the second time, telling her she was the Chief of Internal Medicine when she wasn’t. So now, she is regretting her decision.

As is Dr. Grant. He thinks he can operate on her and remove the tumor. But Amy thinks it is a risk because she has high blood pressure due to the chemo. Amy suggests a procedure that could lower her pressure, but Dr. Grant doesn’t have faith in her because she has not done it since her car accident.

Eventually, he agrees to let her do it, but something goes wrong. Did Amy make things worse?

Oh, and we learn more about Amy and Dr. Grant’s relationship, and how close they were.

At the end of last week’s episode, Dr. Maitra (Anya Banerjee) thinks she might be pregnant, so she took a pregnancy test. Surprisingly, she confides in Amy about it, even though they aren’t friends. But she knows she can trust her co-chief.

Then there is Jake (Jon Ecker). He is assigned to the clinic for his cardiac fellowship, where he meets a cardio patient who is in heart failure again. The reason is that the heart surgeon didn’t follow up on a simple test, and there were complications from the surgery. Jake has to decide what to do about his superior, the doctor who screwed up the surgery. Who does he tell about it?

What does he decide to do? Tune in tonight or stream it on Hulu starting tomorrow.
