Adam Levine was on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon and him talked about Gwen Stefani doing a John Travolta to Stephen Colbert’s name. The Maroon 5 singer explained that his Voice co-Coach was having problems saying his name before they presented and he tried to help her out. But when the time came, nerves took over.
Then the NBC late night host explained that his going up there to accept the award was unplanned. Colbore, I mean Coldbear, I mean Colbert, and him had not planned what happened next and it all came naturally.
No doubt that one little f*ck up by the No Doubt singer turned into comedy gold.

For a little over a week it has been rumored that Gwen Stefani is joining The Voice and today NBC made the news official. The No Doubt singer will be joining the singing competition in the fall along with Pharrell Williams and his hat. In case you are one of the few people who doesn’t know who they are, they will be performing on Monday’s show. Stefani will get the audience rockin’ to Hollaback Girl and Williams will get them happy with Come Get It Bae.
So in other words, The Voice gets Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Wiliams and his hat, and American Idol got Harry Connick Jr and Jennifer Lopez. Is there any doubt why Idol’s rating are dropping fast and The Voice’s are going up faster? I mean, the NBC show gets artists that are charting now and Idol gets ones that haven’t charted since their contestants were born. You gotta respect the crap out of Mark Burnett for not only knowing which musicians are hot, but also for having the ability to get them to do his show. Everyone of their coaches has not needed the show to get them liked again (see J-Lo) and yet they still do it! Pharrell Wiliams’ hats off to Reality Show Mogul!
Side note: That photo was taken in at the 2005 Billboard Music Awards when Gwen won Digital Song of the Year for Hollaback Girl. I was looking for photo of them together, thought that one was perfect, picked and then found she won for the song she will be singing on Monday. Total kismet.

We know that Adam Levine has moves like Jagger, but are we now finding out he likes to dress like a woman when he isn’t singing that song? The Maroon 5 singer was photographed holding some bras, so what are we supposed to think? Well even though we are thinking that, the real reason he is holding women’s apparel is because he just launched a line of clothing for the ladies at Kmart. That’s right girls, we can dress the way The Voice coach wants us to, if we go to Kmart and buy something from the Adam Levine Women’s Collection. I saw a few things that made me want to pick up the payphone and order them right now! Did you see anything you liked?

CeeLo Green announced last month that he was leaving The Voice after this season to focus on music and today NBC announced that Pharrell Williams would be replacing him in the fall! I think he will be a great addition to the panel. That is as long as he leaves that hat home. Otherwise no one in the audience behind him will be able to see the contestants sing. Oh wait, isn’t that the idea of the singing competition?
Are you happy he will be a coach on The Voice?
Finally, NBC the rest of the coaches for season 7 will be announced at a later date. Wonder if that means they are still trying to confirm Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who have been part of every season of the show, will be back for a 7th battle round.

Blake Shelton has had some interesting Tweets, and in the latest one The Voice coach admitted that he just watched his first p0rn movie ever. Then he added that he looked young, implying he was in it. So is that his way of saying he did adult entertainment before he entertained adults? It’s probably just one of his drunk Tweets, but for a second my honey bee got really excited. So if he did do a p0rn, can someone send me the name of it so I can see it.
