The Mexican Pizza will be back at Taco Bell in September! |

Back in 2020, Taco Bell removed the Mexican Pizza from its menu because it was complicated to make during the pandemic. Then, in mid-May, it was back on for two weeks before it was gone again. Why? Because it was selling out all over the country, and they didn’t have enough ingredients to keep up with the supply.
Since then, people have been wondering when they can run to the border again, and now we know.
“It’s going to be relaunched mid-September, and it’s going to be a permanent item,” Taco Bell CEO Mark King told Fortune. “I had more feedback—hate mail!—over the removal of Mexican pizza [than any other time].”
Most excellent news! And hopefully, now, we will finally get that Dolly Parton musical for the item they promised us.
One last note, I got one of the Mexican Pizzas when they were back. And it was really yummy, so I can’t wait to have another one because yo quiero Taco Bell!

Dolly Parton is such a fan of the Taco Bell Mexican Pizza that she is going to do a musical for them. Now, that the favorite item is back on the menu, she just had to have one.
Unlike Mariah Carey, the singer took a few bites and shows us yummy it is.
The biggest difference between Dolly eating one and us eating one is that she didn’t make a mess, while I always get Mexican Pizza guts all over the place. That is why she is Dolly Parton, and I am me.

Everyone and their brother on Broadway would love to do a musical with Dolly Parton. However, it is Taco Bell who actually made it happen.
The singer announced this morning, “I’m making #MexicanPizzaTheMusical with @TacoBell #tacobellpartner”
Back in January, Miss Dolly talked about her love for the fast food giant and said that she wished that they would bring back the Mexican Pizza. As soon as the company heard that, they knew they needed to bring it back. So now they are, and they got the legendary musician to help them get the word out with a live TikTok musical on May 26th at 8p EST. Thus, you are going to want to make your calendars now because you don’t want to miss Taco Bell: The Musical.
Normally, I would tell her to break a leg. But in this case, I think we should be saying, “Hope you break wind!”

Taco Bell has come up with a subscription service for the food that is the first part of its name. And that news just rang my bell.
For just $10, you get 30 days of a free taco. Each day, you can choose one of these seven tacos: Crunchy Taco, Crunchy Taco Supreme, Soft Taco, Soft Taco Supreme, Spicy Potato Soft Taco, Doritos® Locos Tacos, and the Doritos® Locos Tacos Supreme.

Just when it seemed like all of the fast food restaurants are getting into the chicken sandwich business, Taco Bell changes things up. They are going to be trying out wings for one week, starting on January 6th.
Your order will come with five fried and juicy chicken wings coated in Mexican queso seasoning and served with spicy ranch dipping sauce. If that sounds like something you want, then you better get them before they fly away.
What won’t be flying away as quickly are their new menu items. They are a Chipotle Cheddar Chalupa, which is served with a creamy chipotle sauce, a Beefy Melt Burrito, and Fiesta Veggie Burrito. They will be available for a limited time starting on January 23rd.
I can’t wait to try them all. I love running to the border.
