Watch the kids from Stranger Things diss Jimmy Fallon!
September 1st, 2016 under Jimmy Fallon, Millie Bobby Brown, Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

The awwwwdorable kids from Stranger Things (Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin and Finn Wolfhard) were on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon challenged them to a game of Stranger Strings. Basically, they all sat in a circle as one of them read a stranger fact about one them that none of them knew about each other. They all had a can of Silly String and sprayed it on the person who they thought that information was about. Needless to say the NBC host was covered with the colored stringy stuff.
As the game went on, Fallon said to Wolfhard when it was his turn to read, “Can you read?” Without hesitation Mike Wheeler asked him, “Can you host?” With that, the kid won our hearts and so much more!!!
After this game, how can you not love these kids even more than you already did before it. That and who doesn’t want to play this game with their friends this weekend after a few too many drinks!

Barbra Streisand with a soft S talks about calling Tim Cook over Siri
August 26th, 2016 under Barbra Streisand, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Earlier this week, there was a story about Barbra Streisand calling Tim Cook to tell him about how Siri mispronounces her last name and she confirmed it on The Tonight Show yesterday. She told Jimmy Fallon that you would think after 50 years people would know how to properly pronounce her name, but they don’t.
She says it is Streye-sand not Streye-zand. I don’t know about you, but I always thought it was the latter.
Maybe she needs to do a song like Liza with Z did because we all know Liza Minnelli’s first name is “Liza with Z not Lisa with an S,” and her last one is, “M I double N then E double L I.”
Not only is Babs last name hard to say, but she doesn’t spell her first one the common way. That is two strikes in my book and needs a song that will get stuck in out Memory.

Dolly Parton modeled her look after the town trollop!
August 24th, 2016 under Dolly Parton, Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

We always thought that Dolly Parton had a style all of her own, but turns out she modeled herself after someone she knew when she was growing up.
She told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show yesterday that, “When I was little, I patterned my look after the town trollop.” Then she explained why, “I thought she was the beautiful thing. She had all this makeup and hair and all the tight clothes and everything I wanted. So it impressed me.”
So much so, she is going to play The Painted Lady in the followup movie to her huge hit Coat of Many Colors. Christmas of Many Colors debuts November 30th on NBC and now we have another reason to tune in. We will get to see Miss Dolly play her style icon. An icon whose look she still emulates today and we don’t ever want her changing.

Seth Rogen turns Lip Sync Battle into Dance Sync Battle
August 6th, 2016 under Jimmy Fallon, Seth Rogen. [ Comments: none ]

Seth Rogen was on The Tonight Show yesterday and Jimmy Fallon mistakenly challenged him to Lip Sync Battle. At first Rogen cheated by using The Roots for his first song, but his second one clinched the title. He not only mouthed Drake’s Hotline Bling, he let his hip sing for him too as he moved like Degrassi’s Jimmy did in the music video. The most talked about dance moves since Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Who knew Rogen could dance like that, if you call that dancing?

Jimmy Fallon’s Slip & Slide fail!
August 5th, 2016 under Jimmy Fallon. [ Comments: none ]

Jimmy Fallon challenged Miles Teller to a game of Slip & Flip on The Tonight Show yesterday and the beer took its effect on the NBC host after the first cup.
Before I get ahead of myself the object of the game to slide on over to the table via the Slip & Slide, drink a cup full of beer, flip the cup over, slide back to the other side and repeat until the 5th cup is flipped over. Things started off great for Fallon when he quickly got his cup to land on its head, but then something happened that put him way behind. He went to do the slide, but instead he just plopped down and stopped. That costly mistake might’ve cost him the game but it won our appreciation. Our appreciation to laugh at people hurting themselves on a Slip & Slide. The joys of summer!
