Now that over 70% of Californians have gotten at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, Governor Gavin Newsom has opened up the state. Therefore, we all have something to sing about. No one, more than Ariana Grande and James Corden. Yesterday, the two of them reworked Good Morning Baltimore from Hairspray (remember she starred in NBC’s live version of the musical?) to mark the occasion and sang their joyful toon on The Late Late Show.
After hearing their upbeat song, I am ready to go out, without a mask and sing just as cheerfully as they did. F*ck that! I am not ready.
James Corden played Spill Your Guts, Fill Your Guts with Chrissy Teigen yesterday on his Late Late Show. To be honest, the questions were lackluster.
However, there was one I liked. Mrs. John Legend asked the CBS late night host, “If you could go back in time, what project would you tell yourself to turn down?” You think he would say Cats because everyone was catty about that movie, but you would be wrong.
Which feature does he wish he turned down? That would be the 2009 film Lesbian Vampire Killers. I am 30 minutes into it, and I still think Into the Woods is his worst movie. Then it would be Prom, Cats, and finally LVK. But I have only seen four of his movies, so maybe there are worse ones out there.
James Corden is close enough to Prince Harry that he went to his wedding to Meghan Markle. Therefore, when the Royal wanted a tour of LA, he called The Late Late Show host.
Corden picked up his buddy in a double-decker tour bus and went for a ride. On their outing, TAFKAP Harry revealed that why he left Britain. The press was too much for him and his wife. He felt that it wasn’t safe for them and their son, Archie, so he felt there was no other choice but to leave.
Even though he is no longer a working Royal, he will never stop living the life of public service. He made a lifelong commitment to that, and he never plans to quit that.
That makes him a Fresh Prince. What is even better, he knows the theme song to Fresh Prince and sang it when they visited the house.
They also visited a boot camp and got a workout. Although, Harry had no problem completing the course.
This was the perfect way for Harry to be introduced to America. We got to see what a laidback, warm person he really is. He is far from an uptight Royal. That is why we love Has so much. Oh yeah, that is Meghan’s name for him.
James Corden has done a few musical numbers on his Late Late Show throughout the years, but yesterday’s might be his most perfect one yet. That is because he reworked Les Misérables’ One Day More in honor of Donald Trump’s one more day in the White House.
Since he cannot do such a big group number by himself, he was joined by Broadway stars: Joshua Grosso, Jillian Butler, Emily Bautista, Kyle Scatliffe, Shuler Hensley, Patti LuPone, and Matt Lucas. Three of which star/red in the musical.
Broadway is one of the hardest-hit industries because of the pandemic. Therefore, the CBS talk show donated money to Broadway Cares as a thank you to the actors who took part in this song.
James Corden has always been a little chubby. This year he is going to do something about it. The Late Late Show host has joined Weight Watchers to make sure this time successful.
He doesn’t want to do it alone, so WW is going to give away a 3-month digital subscription to 100,000 people with financial hardships.
Hopefully, in three months, we will see the difference for all of them!
I bet he and Rebel Wilson wish they were doing Cats this year. This way, they could show off their skinnier frames in those revealing catsuits.
