Lucy Hale was on The Late Late Show yesterday and James Corden asked her if the rumors are true that the show is ending next season. After trying to avoid the answer she told him, “It is ending.” What? Then she added, “We’ve been doing it for 6 years. I’ve literally spent my 20’s on the show and I think that all good things come to an end.” But then she said, “Who knows what can happen?” Even though she loves the people she works with and the show, it is just time.
At that point, the CBS late night host asked her how she wants the soapy drama to end. She told him, “I used to say I wanted the show to end, walking away in the sunset. They are all happy, living an A free life. No drama.” But now there is a, “But, I don’t. I want it to end really tragically.”
Are you sad that she made the news official or did you want the show to go on and on and on? I think the actresses are ready to move to bigger and better things, and I can’t wait to see what is next for them. Hale truly is a star in the making and so are her co-stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson and Shay Mitchell.
Jenna Dewan was on The Late Late Show yesterday and James Corden asked her about being a backup dancer for Janet Jackson. Then she revealed that not only was it amazing to dance for Miss Jackson, it was fun to hang out when the concerts were over. Mrs Channing Tatum said, “She loves to go out in every single city and we would have so much fun. She would be like, let’s go out.” Then she added, “We would always end up going to strip clubs. Which is weird, I know, interesting. But what would happen…what was so funny, we would walk in and the strippers would fan girl over Janet.”
Can you imagine going to a strip club with Janet? Better yet, can you imagine being a stripper and seeing her walk in? What a trip. Now I want to go to tripping with her, don’t you?

James Corden thinks that Deadpool needs a sidekick, so he went to Ryan Reynolds with some suggestions. There was Ice Man, Potato Man and Ten-to-kill to name a few and I agree with the action hero when he said that they are “awful.” As soon as he told the CBS late night host heard that, he started to cry.
Mr Blake Lively felt bad and gave in to Corden. So what will Deadpool’s sidekick be? You just have to watch this all the way through to find out.
For years, many of us have pondered the question, who is a better kisser James Van Der Beek or Joshua Jackson. Yesterday, on The Late Late Show, James Corden asked Katie Holmes which of her Dawson Creek co-stars is better to lock lips with. She did her Joey smile, exposing her dimples and tried to avoid the answer. But then Ryan Reynolds chimed in and said, “I went to high school with Josh and I can honestly tell you right now he is a terrific kisser.” To which Holmes replied, “I mean, if he says so, I mean, you know.” So I guess that means we have our answer. Plus, she dated him in real life for a while when they did the show, so he had to be a good kisser or they never would’ve gone out. Right?
BTW I don’t mean to come down on the CBS late night host, but I really wish he would learn how to say actors’ names correctly. His mispronounced Susan Sarandon’s name recently and now who is Da Beek? I know, it is me being petty, but I just think it is part of the job requirement.
James Corden took Sia for a ride and they turned their trip into a Carpool Karaoke. The host of The Late Late Show wanted to know why she wears those wigs that cover her face.
He said to her that they when they met on the red carpet she was wearing it, but when they were inside she took it off. She told him, “I don’t wear this thing unless there are cameras around,” adding, “I only wear this thing just to maintain a modicum of privacy.” Then she explained why she chose that, “I was a singer already for 10 or 11 years to mediocre sucess. I was an alcoholic and a drug addict and I sobered up. I decided I didn’t want to be an artist anymore. Because I was starting to get a little bit famous and it was destabilizing in some ways.” Then she elaborated, “I thought what doesn’t exist in pop music at the moment and it was mystery.”
Her decision makes sense, but I think it is time for a new gimmick. I want to a singer’s face when they sing because I think their emotion can make a song, especially songs like hers, even more powerful.
